Wonder how they’ll feel when they come to sell up and the new owners immediately remove everything they’ve installed, in order to return it to its proper, original, Victorian style?

And if the new owners had social media? Even better! “We’re renovating this poor house and removing the chavtastic tat fitted by the previous owners... our particular hate is this pink bathroom, with public toilet gender labelling on the floor, but the second kitchen, which was bizarrely referred to as a dressing room, will also be thrown out and burnt on a communal rubbish pile”....

We bought our own Victorian money pit last year. When we first bought it there was holes in the floor, mould on the walls and a cat poo on the second floor? The previous owner hadn’t turned on the heating in fifteen years. It has flooded twice since we moved in and soaked all our stuff. This week we got excited because we no longer need to fill the bath from a pipe and turn the water on with a screw driver.

I can’t believe what they’re doing to their lovely house in the name of Insta. I’m still pissed off that they stuck that lovely bath in the garden. I’m all for putting your own stamp on things but why would you wreck a perfectly nice house?

I love River, Sapphire and Artemis. My neighbour just called her baby Lyra (Golden Compass).

I don’t think the SOD girl’s names are too bad. I have terrible delusions of grandeur though 😂 I think I am a modern day Mrs Bucket, er I mean Bouquet...

I used to know someone who had a daughter called Ariel and she was constantly teased at school with ‘Ariel, gets it clean’.... she apparently used to reply ‘that’s Persil actually’.

I love Ariel, when I lived in Israel many moons ago, it was very popular and shortened to Ari, which I also love.
An antique dealer friend of mine had an Italian Greyhound named Delilah...cute for a doggy! 🐶

Oh me too hun I'm also a Hyacinth/ a Fraiser in hiding.. I'm going to add that to my list of series to watch.

I laughed, but for the sake of influencer transparency I would also stick to Dulux.
 
Ages ago she bought paint. It split in the back of the Lexus or Mercedes car. Was then kindly #gifted more paint.

Fodder's used a steam cleaning thing and was pissed off in the garden.

She posted about the play room stinking. Not sure if it before or after the gifted paint.

It was before the #gift. A small family business donated new paint.

A big drama for FOD. He was raging and somehow managed to advertise a steamer. I think that’s where I first noticed he was passive agressive.

A lot of Insta Mums bought the same paint. I feel sorry for any normal beings who got caught out.
