My son is only a couple of months younger than twins and only just potty trained last week. No medical issues but I was conscious he was the last at his nursery. We’d tried loads of techniques with the support of nursery and none had worked. Then suddenly last week without any effort whatsoever he decided not to wear nappies anymore. I know other parents will have been judging us but I don’t let it bother me. We tried earlier. It didn’t work. Children sometimes do things at their own pace.

also would why is the sheet down to his BELLY BUTTON? Eg right above his crotch? I know it’s awful to say this about an image containing children but if my husband sent this pic (sans kids) to a woman I’d go ballistic!

Same! In fairness though they're probably hiding under their towels because they're fed up of having a camera shoved in their face every 5 minutes.

As I understood from the numerous references to potty training etc, they tried once and then again, I think they are trained in the day but wear night nappies. I’ve no issue with this, my son trained at nearly 3 and wore night nappies till 5, it’s not uncommon for some children to wear night nappies longer. The issue is a) he’s oversharing and b) he’s using it for either attention or ads.
I wasn’t criticising the twins in nappies, I was pointing out this faux-eco warrior uses disposable nappies on twin nearly 4 year olds, not a more eco version or washables. It was just a point about him not them.

I’m sorry but this whole being a favourite sucks thing er sucks...... there are so many people who should bleeping kill to be in your privileged position not only as a father but a father on holiday somewhere sunny with their whole family...

My son potty trained like a dream at 2.5...honestly I was ridiculously smug. Then randomly in Yr 1 of school he was sent down to the school office to show the Headteacher how he was ready for his first Maths badge (they have to answer some times tables questions to pass) and the office lady called me to let me know that he shatw himself. Like...all down his legs full on shat himself. Honestly I was so embarrassed...he was 7....and although they judged that he was just nervous about the badge and it had gone to his bowels, I was worried that he was regressing or something, or that he had a toiletting problem. I laugh now bcos it never happened again and he's a happy well-adjusted boy, but all the smug of potty training was bleeping gone when I picked up my tit-stained 7 yr old from school 🤫😂

Yes, man who has flown to 4 different continents this year, and had more luxury holidays than most families will afford in their lifetime, (at Christmas especially when everyone’s broke) I share your trauma of your children being clingy sometimes. Bore off.

I also get the feeling he’s trying to market himself to middle aged American women with the topless pics and need my eyes surgically removed from the back of my head from the eye roll i performed watching his stories.

More to the point he gets freebie child free trips away. They both get a lot of time away from the kids. Moaning about this holiday comes across as spoilt.
