Shes got a massive living room that can quite easily have a corner for a laptop.

I think thats the front door that is the backdoor so she doesn't use that side. It had loads of shite there few weeks back wouldn't have been easy opening the door. But can someone let Charlotte know the front door is the one that has the letterbox. That's how we used to define it at my last job. Enjoy the hallway desk. I did it for a few months...its cold and everytime someone comes down the stairs you will be interrupted. But then she needs an office about as much as Stacey does. Why not just use the spare bedroom?

Mine was £16 ikea that's what I call cheap and cheerful. If I hadn't bought that I was looking at hairpin legs in screwfix think 4 was £20 & I was going to use the sode of my collapsed wardrobe£86.00 for a cheap and cheerful desk! What day of the week does she think it is? Does she not know people are strapped for cash.
