Omg the beams again. I just can’t. Why why why.

The beams look like scaffolding. If that's not huge regret staring you in the face a day everyday I don't know what is.

If i’m spending upwards of 600k on a house build… i’m sure as all hell paying an architect to design it perfect

I asked my husband this question, he’s an engineer, and he seems to think the posts will stay. He also said surely it’d be worth selling a few more Christmas stockings and have upgraded to timber if she’s not going for an industrial warehouse feel.

Forever is a long time to live under those beams that belong on a bridge. Then again, is this really her forever home? Probably is to Ball swinger Benny, this moron will want the next big shiny build trend by the time they get the keys. Looking at my neighbours red brick clone house behind through the superrrrrrrr magical mud room window would be enough for me to hire a selling agent,

They are definitely staying - they are structurally holding the steel beams up. It's all sooooooo wrong - it's like she's taken in her mood board to the builder and said put in every single idea (except on a budget so it actually looks even worse if that's possible)!!!

She could get the beams capped with timber. It would be chunky, but would still look better than if they were left as they are, painted white or not.

I think this is an important lesson in straying from the original plan. ‘Custom’ doesn’t always mean better. There’s just so much going on, and this is just the bones. Each to their own but…

also, while I’m here throwing stones - the mud room/ magic reading library window looks to be a picture window and one that won’t have a window covering… excellent if you’re on acreage but with no privacy fencing and in full view of next door… I hope Kyree that you don’t have nosy neighbours!

Her whole life is just sad - living out in the sticks in some outer Perth housing estate trying to pretend she's building some amazing architectural house when really it's just a volume builder design she's 'tweaked" (to actually make it worse if that's possible). I feel sorry for her - particularly that video of her husband looking through the car window - I mean WTF - no wonder he's 7 foot tall - from the top of his head to the end of that horrendous beard is 4 feet!!!

She will just pop up, I mean ball swinger, will pop up some $14.99 floating shelves to add some magical lighting, I mean she has those shelves in the current cottage in a dark corner yet gets the most magical light there

That's beautiful home! I can see this as kyree vision, but its such a shame it's bit all over the place.

No way her current house is actually better! I just can't my head around the design of this house and everything about it, at least her home now makes sense, its nothing special but ts functional

OMG imagine all the floating shelves filled with gold frames and fake flowers and then the hundreds of framed family photos on the special gallery wall!!! Throw in the Fantastic Furniture or maybe she'll go all out and get a Freedom couch. She has absolutely ZERO idea or taste when it comes to anything interiors!!
