I’m on Mat leave with my 2nd, if I want 40 mins to do my hair it’s in the evening after both kids are asleep or in the morning before they wake, otherwise either one of them needs me or I’m wading through the endless washing, cooking & washing up. Where does she find the time

She likes to buy things things that have the feel of tradition and sentimentality, all the while creating none because she replaces them every year. It's an illusion purely for instagram aesthetics. The nostalgia I have towards my childhood are for the things I had for years and the memories associated with them. The same wicker Easter basket my whole childhood, the same scratchy blankets year after year to cuddle up under on the couch in winter, the same Christmas tree and decorations that my parents still have 30 + years later (same decorations, not the tree...it did give out eventually ).

literally - the absolute IRONY of her posting affiliate links to, what, 5 or 10 (?) stockings one day, under the guise of supporting small business, and then turning around a few days later and buying a whole set of new stockings from - SHOCKER - a huge corporation.
