This just happened! 🆘 Was leaving the Wine & Dine 1/2 Marathon expo and saw Mikey standing at the ESPN Grill. I thought no way he’s running a race then I saw he had a race bag. From the color of the shirt, he’s doing the 5K. He was waiting in line for a free food item (no surprise there), which he got to go. I snapped a few pics and then left the area.
Soon after, we were outside the merchandise building and my husband spotted him walking our way. Michael went into the building with his camera in hand. We didn’t follow … didn’t want his presence to ruin the mood. 😂 He was by himself, quiet, and on his phone the whole time (glad to see he’s taking his disconnect advice 🙄) So be prepared, a future RunDisney video will be happening!

I guess when you're in the last corral, taking your time, filming, and not actually trying to put any effort forward, it's easy to get a jump photo.
meanwhile, the rest of us were hustling our asses off, trying to not slip. :ROFLMAO:

Not to knock runDisney 5ks, but they are literally a walk in the park. Now let's see if he moves up to the 10k where you can get swept. Wouldn't that be wild.

It is a "fun run" and from what I saw, 90% of the people walk. It's for all people, you mainly participate for characters and dressing up. As long as you can "pace" a sixteen minute mile, you are good to go. If you cross the finish line, you get a medal.
 
Michael doing a video about WDW during the holidays.....but still isn't going to any parks. It's like we're back in 2020. Even if he hated WDW he would still go to the parks to vlog about the decorations, holiday merch, holiday treats etc.
There is only one possible reason why he would stop going to the parks. He would stop if Disney made him stop.
No more doubts in my mind...he's been banned.

I am of the same opinion, although he'd have some video up somewhere crying about it. It's really debatable why he is doing what he's doing. But, did anyone notice the view count on today's 'Disney' vlog? Nobody came to watch. That's huge.

I don't think he'd have a video about being banned. He'd bury that info in the closet with the rest of his skeletons. We're talking about Michael here. The least open of all the vloggers.

Large shirt is here and medium has been buried. That 1:51 is the timer for the full race (half, 10k, 5k). The half marathon runners would have started first and that timer would have been from when they started since the finish line would be the same for everyone. His last mile was about 18 minutes which is very slow. You could see the timer in the back when he passed mile 2 and it was at 1:33. But good for Mike to actually do this. I’m sure he won’t do another one though.
 
I'm still not gonna knock him or critique his time.

I watched the vlog. It actually wasn't that annoying. He stopped to look at things like rare characters (I probably would have to, TBH). Some of the areas he filmed in were quite dense w/ people, like around World Showcase where people were all crammed together and were walking. Doesn't all that add to the time?

I can't stand the fucker but I don't care what his finish time was. He still did it. Lots of us didn't. So good on him. 🤷‍♀️

That timer starts when the first corral is released. Michael was probably in one of the later corrals so the timer would’ve been running for a while before he even crossed the start line. It’s not indicative of his time.

Haven’t watched his video yet but I honestly give him props for committing to and finishing the race. This seems like a healthy and positive choice and if this is what it takes to get him hooked on exercise then so be it.

I could somersault a mile in less than 18 minutes.
 
I'm also on the no knocking Mikey today! RunDisney was finally a positive decision for him! He outright said he was nervous about doing it because of not knowing how much running he would have to do, so he totally is relatable to a big portion of his viewers as an average person doing their first 5k. He's relatable for the first time in forever. No punches for today, Mikey.
