Also teeming your outfit to the show you're seeing is hardly revolutionary or original. It's literally the most basic idea you could come up with in seconds.

People have been doing it for years. There used to be a guy either on the whatsonstage forum when it existed, or broadwayworlds boards (forget which) who dressed up for every show he saw and would post photos. This was many years ago now.

its like a theatrical Disneybounding. I get how it might be fun once or twice say for Cabaret or Gatsby but it's a tad silly n childish and more likely to provoke a reaction of look at that prat rather than ooh that person is cool n fun and getting in the spirit. I do wish I'd have dressed as a unicorn that time i used to see Glass Menagerie a LOT but I suspect it might have changed the trajectory of my WE experience..

I am having fun imagining all the costumes I could have had tho - Chef for Seared, sari for Bend It Like Beckham, swamp peasant for Spamalot., Lydia for Beetlejuice.. (oh wait..)

Had to laugh Lauren Samuels is currently playing Elphaba on a US tour and she's posting on her IG about a Wicked themed cardigan shes acquired. Yes its the same one our Mickey was wearing.. I have to say it looks fantastic on her..a slim petite pretty woman.. Mickey not so much..

How can he and the fiancee afford the constant NYC trips? His Youtube channel is pretty tiny in the grand scheme of Youtube channels and its his full time job now.

Rich parents?

Thanks, that explains some of it but... flights? Are the airlines gifting them every trip or something?
airmiles grifts and tricks? Youcan fly to US for approx £300 if you go on budget airlines with no frills.. given that they are paying zilch in accommodation , mostly gifted merch and tickets it probably costs them a lot less to fly there than say someone like me who flies a mid priced airline, pays for accomodation and every theatre ticket even with friends and partners attached to productions. So therefore they can go a lot more times than I can

Latest video contains the following line in the intro.. after I have been invited to review a show .... IDK why he is so averse to posting reviews of shows that he has paid to see. IMO those are more valid in terms of opinions because there is no obligation to be positive if the show absolutely sucked.. In fact i can't remember if he's ever completely slated a show the way more objective audience members such as you and i would

No, his reviews are completely biased. Either because he has got them for free, knows or is a fan of someone involved, or wants to suck up to them. I don't think he buys many, if any, tickets himself.

I feel like starting my own channel tbf purely on the basis that I am not afraid to give my honest opinions on shows even if I know someone involved. Though admittedly there's a couple of shows where I knew someone I didnt go and see because I think i'd have hated them.

If he doesn't buy any tickets himself then how can we trust him as a reviewer? It defeats the point. I watch a lot of flight review content but most of them seem to be biased in some of the above ways. it's so self defeating...

I think I just have a personal beef because I know for a fact he saw one Broadway show where I know ppl involved and I would just like to know what he thought.. I don't think he should have mentioned he was seeing it if he's not going to share his thoughts.. He's never alluded to it in any way/video since but his stagey fiance has and I think rated some of the performances in his Tonys content while also not giving a review
