Back when Michael was doing those crappy interview videos he had someone on that was in the Disney college program. She just quit. I wonder if he’ll interview her again to find out where the magic went.


The title of Michael’s video was “what is the DCP really like?” Never mind she had not even started it. So he could have interviewed me as well since she and have have exactly the same experience—zero. What a dumb ass.
 
Anyone watch and find out why she left?

My guess is she found out how it's really not that magical when they're using you as cheap labor doing grunt work instead of anything even closely related to your undergrad studies. Cleaning rooms and doing laundry and hauling luggage isn't really part of the hotel management this person might have been studying.

OH well. Hope she enjoyed living in Vista Way

You are right on the nose. Apparently, the college program assigned her a role of housekeeping assistant like moving around those 6 foot towel carts but she had some physical & medical issues after a couple of weeks. I think in a previous vlog she mentioned she majored in hospitality management so they were in the process of reassigning her a new assignment. However, Disney never got back to her for close to 2 months so her previous manager brought her back to do less strenuous tasks but was stuck doing BS assignments like those random security checks of the rooms during the middle of the day and some days they didn't have enough for her to do. After awhile, she realized it wasn't working so she quit which I don't blame her. She did mention she has a new job and will be able to do more vlogs from the parks, which is something she enjoys.

She seems like a good person so I hope she gets back on her feet. I just hope she doesn't turn into the female version of Michael when her channel grows. Although watching a few of the vlogs, she does mention being a "Florida Resident" too much and she hangs around some of the other Kaykateers that have been discussed here so she will probably be brainwashed like Michael.

She hangs around with them but she keeps her distance. She definitely doesn’t want to be anymore friendly with them than she is. This is right from her mouth. She got one of the elephants staying with her now and can’t wait for her to go.

When we saw this dirtbag pop up on Patreon saying he was on a 7night cruise we nearly passed out with 😡 and according to our source(s), it really upset the kateers, well the BIGGER ONES. They yapped on and on how his content sucks, the vlogs from this cruise will suck, but they enjoy their friendship and feel indebted to him for how they all found eachother 🤮 They’re all about to board a Disney boat together, let hope for the best with those whales on one boat. Kelly continues to annoy with bringing up her lust for Dave, so disgusting. It’s her dork boy so I hear. Guys a loser, but she’s a two faced pig so who cares let her embarrass herself. Kateers all tell her how she’s really his friend and he treats her differently from everyone 😂😂😂😂😂 again hysterical.

I actually like Meg, at least for now. Just like how people used to like Michael when he started out. But you’re right. She hangs out with Claire and Kelly so I feel that must say something…
 
I watched about 10 minutes of the "I self termed from Disney" video, my take:
1) word salad so it is hard to determine her medical condition, went on for five minutes and didn't say anything
2) said that her minor scoliosis diagnosis somehow became a medical restriction on lifting things
3) seemed surprised that Disney needs all kinds of workers while the planet recovers from a pandemic
4) disappointed that her assignment in housekeeping did not seem to utilize her course of study in hospitality management
5) as someone who did a lot of crappy jobs as a young guy, I can see how a hands on "this is what the cleaning staff does" can help a future hotel manager understand what/who she would be managing to maybe avoid treating people like machines.
6) she seems sweet, but also young, impatient, unwilling to put in hard hours, and has decided that lifestyle vlogging is easier/more interesting than learning the nuts and bolts of the major that she studied.

I don't mean to suggest that she comes across as morally bankrupt like the kay boys, but she has decided that vlogging her life is a career. Good luck with that. Most people babbling into a camera might appear interesting for a while, but I just can't watch any more of it. Up to today I have been able to "enjoy" michael for the rage inducement. Like others mentioned earlier today, I can no longer even rage watch Dave. I think his last two videos still have fewer than 400 views. I couldn't even rage watch michael today, thought that I had turned it off after a couple of minutes. Completely uninteresting content from a character I find repulsive in many respects ranging from his treatment of people, to his lack of empathy for others during a plague, to his seriously unhealthy eating choices, to his presenting a piece of lettuce garnishment as a heathy food choice, to saying that pancakes are a good source of protein. Generally treating the audience as idiots.

Ten seconds into the video today michael remarked that he was in the scorching "summer sun." It just turned to Springtime. Walking into Mission Space he tells us that he has picked up a deep interest in astronomy and mentioned how mission space is instructive on that. Then my brain turned off, I watched the rest of his video, but tonight neither me nor my wife could remember having watched the middle 7-8 minutes of his video. It was very disconcerting having time I could not account for when I know exactly what I did only hours earlier. Maybe michael hypnotized us.

It's a pretty interesting video. She was completely candid about the whole thing. Working for Disney right now sounds absolutely horrible.

Wait you drink beer out of a red plastic cup at a food and drink festival? I might have been living in England for too long but I have never been to a beer festival where you use cheap cups like that, a good beer needs a good glas.

...Anyway, I did not really understand what Mickey was drinking, but I usually don't listen that carefully but why did he not mention the percentage of alcohol in the beverage? People like him are driving there and if I drive I find that kind of information important. He should also maybe mention if it was a lager or IPA etc but I don't know if he knows what those are even if he's a beer expert.

I don't think Mickey is autistic or have any other kind of disability. If he was autistic he would know things about Disney.
 
When applying for the Disney College Program you choose the roles you are "Most interested" in, "Have little interest" in or have "No interest at all". It's up to you to select the roles very carefully from the list of roles or you will end up in housekeeping or custodial or food service. (These are the roles I would personally be less interested in) Your role usually has nothing to do with your major in school either.
