Michael Barrymore - death in the pool

1
Just catching up on this thread and WOW. I am appalled.

I was a young teen when SL died and I recall that there were suspicious circumstances around a drowning at a party... What I didn't realise until today was that he had also been horrifically assaulted and that only 8 other people (EIGHT!!) were also there. How nobody has been convicted of anything (even lesser charges of fleeing the scene, removing evidence, perverting the cause of justice, NOTHING!) is just ludicrous and so incredibly sad.

This is why the case needs to be kept in the publics mind. We need justice for Stuart and I hope one day we get it.
MB seems to get really annoyed when this story is again mentioned too. He deeply wishes it would disappear, but it never will.
I feel so sad that his Dad didn’t get justice for Stuart before his recent death.

I genuinely don't think there's a conspiracy amongst some of the guests. They were just every day plebs and by the sounds of it are bewildered, horrified and also eager to know. But there's the clear circle of culprits, and MB is one of them.
Agree. Most people at the party don’t know what really happened. There is a small amount of men that do, MB being one of them.
The Police questioned a man last year after new evidence came about, but clearly the evidence was not enough for a charge. They know who did it, but don’t have enough evidence so far, sadly.
I don’t think MB did it, but pretty sure he either saw the rape/ murder or knows who did it.

I think he did do it or played a big part in it! He was so desperate to hold onto his career that i think if he could have found anyway possible to save himself he would have hung the others. He was the one with the damaged penis , he ran from the scene, himself or partner took evidence! Why if he was just a by stander he 100% would have spoken out to save himself. He also had money to pay the others off!

If Michael wasn't responsible he would have 1000000% threw whoever it was under the bus!
Yes and the fact he didnt try at all only leads me to believe there was not a shread of evidence against anyone else. If there was he would have payed a lawyer to minipulate the whole thing £££.

Sorry for TMI but I think they were having sex with Stuart in the pool and abusing him with objects. It would have been easy to keep his head under the water and for him to drown.

There are few people that make me feel such hatred and revulsion as MB.
He makes me sick the poor guy wasnt even gay ! One of them on their death beds could leave a letter 🤞 i believe what happens in the dark always comes to light. Hopefully the dirty old pervs still alive when it does.

I definitely think MB was part of the group that raped him and saw what happened, thats why he is also keeping quiet. But there seems to be more focus on one of the other guys in the group ( who was re arrested recently, and it wasn’t MB ) who was the more aggressive of the group.

I think they took the others bk in to see if after years of guilt would they speak(snitch) hense the reason he wasnt re arrested.? Stuarts father was kicking off when he fell ill he wanted answers before he left this world the poor man.

Apologies if I already mentioned this before on this thread but it seems the pool thermometer is what SL was raped with. His internal injuries were horrific. Poor guy.
The Police made a catalogue of errors which could have brought far more evidence to the case. As MB was a big deal at the time, he definitely was able to pull some strings and divert the course of justice.
All he lost was his career, poor Stuart lost his dignity, was brutally raped and murdered, and his life.
That arrogant tit Barrymore still has no remorse, and wont ever come clean on what happened that night, to save his own skin. What a vile man.

Yup, his family lost a son and brother, and his daughters had to grow up without a father. Barrymore lost nothing in comparison.

I'm so pleased this is still in the public eye. The pressure must be kept on that group and the truth must come out eventually. There are few people I despite more that MB. He is a repugnant human being.
Totally agree. I don't think we have heard the last of it all though. All this recent chatter about Savile et al will bring folk to speak about it, I think.

I just had a look at his TikTok page…it’s like he’s trying to stay relevant and appeal to a younger audience again.

I may just be repeating myself, but I agree he's found a niche. He's a nostalgia fisher. If you peruse his comments the age range is obvious - it's the group who grew up watching him as kids.

I admittedly have fond memories of him also...but I know it's not really him, it's the era and my childhood that I really miss.
