Idk where you’re from but ppl in Ireland normally use a toilet and then put the paper in the toilet and flush, bidets aren’t a thing in Ireland/uk

Melanie is the type who thinks being bi is like being part of an exclusive group who stand out from the crowd. She is bi but her motives seem really wrong here. She constantly goes on about political correctness gone too far and how we should all be “kind” to each other and then she goes on liking Tweets like these policing straight people on a non-issue.
It also really bothers me why she keeps liking tweets mentioning NHS or UK and trying to relate it to Ireland. It makes absolutely NO SENSE. And not a single tweet about issues in Ireland. Mother and baby homes for instance! Selfish as always!

She forever makes references to her "wild years" with other women. Wild? That's normal dating... You know, women dating other women, women sleeping with other women and men... is what bisexuality is.
To imply it's wild tells me it was all a fun Katy Perry phase/ teehee I slept with women- she constantly has framed her bisexuality as a fun phase/ time in her life.

I also still think that while she may be bi and have felt sexually attracted to women, I doubt she’s ever done more than kiss one. Reasons for this mostly being that I’ve seen her talk in videos about how all sex doesn’t need to involved penetration, but the only example she uses is her friend Callum who doesn’t enjoy penetration as part of sex. I strongly believe that if she’d been with a woman, she would’ve brought that experience up somehow. Although penetration can be part of lesbian sex, I think she would’ve mentioned that it’s an assumption people make about it.
I’d already thought this, but it was confirmed (in my head, at least) as true when I watched the recent ‘self-love’ video with Hannah. They’re discussed how sensitive Mel’s nipples are and Mel mentioned that no man she’s ever been with has had sensitive nipples - no mention of women at all, even though generally ours would be more sensitive and it’s a more typical part of foreplay for us. It’s almost like when she’s not ‘on’ she forgets to lie about it. I’m also not saying she’s not bi if she’s never had sex with a woman, just pointing out that I think she’s a liar. And for someone who touts herself as so sex positive and was shaming people for feeling uncomfortable talking about sex, just listen to the words and body language she uses when she’s talking about it, she can’t just say things like ‘vagina’ or ‘turned on’ without making a silly face or using a stupid euphemism. It’s so immature.
It’s also very ironic for her to like that Twitter post when she never shuts up about her ‘husband’. I found it strange anyway, like most of her followers know who Thomas is?

Absolutely spot on analysis. Her entire take on “bisexuality” is doing more harm than good for her bisexual audience. It’s not something you giggle about. It’s almost as if she is ashamed of it but want to normalize it in theory? It’s all very unhealthy and nobody needs people like Jess and Melanie to talk about sex and body positivity when they are clearly clueless. I felt the same vibe from her when discussing Kendall recently. She was ridiculing her for not having a vulva but also praising her as well for having a body type that most people don’t have? Such a conflicting message and clearly showed her inner struggle with body dysmorphia. And then she posted a filtered photo of herself with curves and cleavage to seek validation from her users.

That slugging post she put up where her skin looks like glass is not a real image of her skin either it's a filter and makeup... sometimes you'll notice in her IG stories (she prefilms to hide the filter titles) glitches where you can see her real skin, plenty of acne scars- which I'm not shaming I have plenty- but the portrayal of this is how my skin and body looks is a bleeping lie.

she knows she screwed up big time with that “relationship” which is why none of her US “friends” bother with her.
she got with a guy who had been with people she knew, people she knew who had spoke out about his personality prior to her hooking up with him for a room to sleep in LA.

It's well known in the YouTube community that there's influencers lying about their sexuality to cast the net wide enough for more views. Sad but true.

Oh I'm not thinking of anyone specifically. I remember reading years ago on GG a YouTuber saying that a lot of influencers/youtubers are targeting the LGBTQ+ community as it's one of the largest on YouTube.

irish grannys while stereotypically “wholesome” and no nonsense I don’t know a single one who isn’t racist and either trying to get over it or openly embrace it, trying to overcome their homophobic views, catholic (lapsed or otherwise) and uphold a patriarchal system.
Grannies can be wise, a safe place to go and all round angels to you as their grandchild (mine was anyway) but they’re still a product of their time and there’s no escaping that. why is she trying to be that?!
I have always had my doubts about her sexuality but I am sick and tired of being told I am "bi-phobic" and guilty of "bi-erasure" when expressing these opinions. There are so many examples of her making little comments here and there that are in conflict with her being bi – like @Lurker9172 said, it's like she forgets she's bi, which is highly suspicious. So no, this is not about people not being really bi if they end up with a person of the opposite sex. This is about Melanie being a compulsive liar and using anything to get attention.
