Did I read this right? Is she really telling us that its 'not normal' to eat right before bed or first thing in the morning? 'Not normal'!? Wtf, way to trigger disordered eating just wow. Eat whenever the duck you are hungry.. if that means eating just before going to sleep... eat! How is that not normal?

This fucked me right off, what a ridiculous and dangerous thing to share! People have different metabolisms and what’s normal for one person won’t be for another. I know someone who eats one big meal a day and is totally fine, while I have to eat every few hours. She’s clearly ‘done her research’ by watching hours of pseudoscientific shite like the video she shared and decided she’s an expert in nutrition. What an absolute shiter.

I questioned her about this and she went on about how it's not normal for us as a species. She said that is not physically or mentally good whatsoever to eat chocolate before going to bed 😂...I'm sorry but how is that not mentally good for you!

Also 100 years ago we'd have never been able to eat all the foods we eat now and so it's not biologically normal. Even when I mentioned that we live longer than we did 100 years ago she said that's down to medicines and its not actually better to live longer because lots of people past 60 have multiple morbidities 🤯.

I did question the research on how it's not biological normal and she rambled on for ages about her dad 😅

I was just thinking about the way Thomas seemingly dictates what’s happening the renovation and the spending they’re doing on the house and it made me wonder if his is the only name on the mortgage?

We know from her previous tweets that the bank wouldn’t give her a mortgage (because she has an unstable job in an unstable industry with an income that differs year on year). And Thomas is making a good salary as a pilot (Aer Lingus have a pilot recruitment programme that starts at €77k in the first year).

We also know she had over €100k in savings as she previously mentioned in a video before they bought the house that she had enough in savings to pay off all over Thomas’s pilot school debt which was around €100k but he wanted to focus on paying that himself. So a good chunk of the €545k house will have been paid off with a deposit alone, so I could see them deciding to have Thomas take out the mortgage alone and she pay the deposit.

That’s just my conspiracy theory on why he’s so weird towards the spending.
He comes across really poorly, but (don't shoot me) I understand him taking control of the finances some bit if that's what he's doing. Keep in mind he's married to someone with ZERO style who wants a walk in closet based off a functional character in a tv show?? She's the queen of notions 😂😂 plus she's regularly admitted that she's terrible with money and has spent thousands over the years with nothing to show for it. so hopefully they balance each other out

Most people finish work around 5ish, settle down at home around 6ish. It would be very hard to not eat before bedtime, especially if we had her 8pm deadline 😂
Melanie just can’t accept that literally everyone is different and to class others’ behaviour as “not normal” is ignorant and could genuinely trigger a vulnerable person into eating disorder tactics.

I was only just having this conversation with a friend, on her rhythm and schedule she HAS to eat dinner before 6pm or she will be famished and shaking, etc. no matter how she has scheduled her morning/afternoon eating. And then she isn’t remotely hungry for the rest of the day. For me, if I eat dinner that early I will be starving again by 8pm and I’m likely to binge on some junk food so I push my dinner out to 8pm and I’m content and healthy.

Melanie is so bizarre.

The amateur anthropologist justifications she gives for everything she does is such a pet peeve

Oh I know... I switched off after a while I couldn't deal with excuse after excuse. If she had just admitted she had worded that post wrong for instance, not implying it was not normal, but just doesn't work for her own wellbeing... But no.. anything different to what she believes isn't normal 😐. 100% agree with what others have said about it triggering disordered thinking around food.

I think I’ve mentioned this before but I thought the same, I bet it’s him and his dad have got the house on the back of his dad’s business, it would explain why she’s not allowed to paint a skirting board or change a plug without his say so , I’ve always gotten the impression it’s his house not theirs, as such!

Can’t tell if she’s got food in her teeth or there’s something going on with her teeth/gums here. Could it be part of her denture poking through? Never noticed it before if so! The screenshot makes it quite blurry but it’s really evident in her stories

Is there anybody threatening to crack an egg on little DP? LIke has anyone suggested it? Jesus she needs to get off the Internet.

And he’s 3 not 2.
That would require the child actually seeing other people.....😂😂

He is 2 isn't he? I think I had my son a couple months before hers and he's only turned 3 - being pregnant at the same time as her (TWICE) was absolute torture and I'll never forget it 🤗😂

Just seen this under Mel's latest video

For context- the commenter explains how she was hospitalised due to depression when baby was a newborn and wanted to let other mothers know it's okay not to breastfeed and if it helps your mental health bottle feeding is a fine choice. Mel literally launches a passive aggressive dig about how sTuDiEs have shown people who breastfeed are more likely not to be depressed.

She is a bleeping bleep.

SS attached.

ETA - I only attached a part of the commenters post relating to breastfeeding. It was a long post so SS the relevant part to post here.

Jesus she doesn't half talk shite.
What an absolute knob. She thinks she soo educated but is actually incredibly bleeping stupid. God help any of her poor idiot followers that take any notice of her nonsense.
