you don’t actually have to have a solicitor in court you can represent yourself which will save money. Your bros ex is mad to not let him have more access! Im a single mother and have my kid 365 24/7 all whilst struggling to juggle uni. Id love nothing more than a relationship with his dad but unfortunately he cba and the courts decided against it for many reasons.
Also back to gemma, why is she even in accommodation? Surely her adopted mom has a spare room? Or does she speak to her dad?

my brother is currently in his 8th year of fighting for access. Has tried representing himself but his ex started to throw false allegations about my brother and DV, so every time she feels like she is loosing control of the kids (this is all it’s about is controlling the kids and my brothers emotions , it’s clear she doesn’t care how this effects the kids, so sad) she throws false allegations into the mix to duck it up. So he’s gone and got himself a super amazing barrister who is BRILLIANT and his final hearing is end of month.
 
She’s goes to lengths to make clear she has supportive relationships with those around her, yet has found herself homeless. She’s clearly declared herself homeless and had it in writing that she can’t stay with her ‘mum’ etc so that she can get housing quicker. Hence why she made out it was all a last minute upheaval so no one would question it. Landlords can’t turf you out without plenty of notice and the law is on the tenant’s side. Eviction is actually a complicated process should the tenants drag their heels.

If she's one of those people that have done that then it's disgusting because there will be people out there who genuinely need a home and have no family or friends to help out , there was a post on Facebook the other day someone wanting tips on bumping up the council house waiting list and loads said tell your Mum to "kick you out" , so selfish

That’s what I’m thinking she’s done, cos she’s close to her mum and her work girls, they’re her rocks, they are getting her through, really gets on with her ex yet no one can put them up for a bit?
 
And now she's dragging her kids out to bars with her on a school night, lovely stuff :cautious:

This is a good point, I'd never thought of this. Has gone down even lower in my estimations if so.
 
I don’t know why it pisses me off so much that people do this. Buy your own bleeping drinks or don’t go out.
