Married At First Sight #18

Luke has had this bright idea for a while regarding boxing but he has forgotten the influencers boxing have millions of followers built over years of content output. Out of the MAFS audience who is paying to watch that fight? They wouldn't even fill a village hall.
They couldn't even get 100 people to meet them all for a brunch so this will never happen.

reality tv people always say “you’ve not seen the last of me” then they do a few episodes of some chat shows and vanish

Their only chance is if some boxing event is on and the undercards undercards undercard slot is free and it’ll be so early in the night that people are just on their phones or at the bar as those two swing at each other.
I’d rather see Trasha and Erica

Popping in to say:

Peggy's dad is shady for sure, not surprised at all if he's done time.

I liked Thomas on the show but one look of him on socials wiggling around in towels gave me the ick.

Thanks to you guys I'm now in possession of a mint flavoured chocolate orange. I won't be for long! 😀
I have to agree about Thomas socials,he comes across quite differently to how he was on the show. Potentially he has a new found confidence, hopefully not copying any of the other blokes from the show. I do find his new 'friendship'with JJ a very odd match

They’re probably trying to jump on the influencer boxing thing
Luke is desperate to remain in the media,he and most of the others are milking their time on the show for all its worth. Constant Ads for clothes make up and services. The few I liked dutingbyhe show are just as irritating as the others

Same. I didn't follow any of them but used to just look them up, saves me unfollowing now. But I've forgotten about them, the moment's gone although it sounds like they are hanging on to fame for dear life. Oh dear.

The problem is, as they are likely now realising, that when you go for instant fame in this manner you risk being notorious rather than famous, so people know who you are but you haven't actually profited much from surrendering your anonymity. I think this is why so many Love Island contestants have struggled afterwards, they think it's a golden ticket but actually it finishes and now everyone has an opinion about you but the phone isn't ringing anymore because you are yesterday's news.
