Had the weans over for a few hours, I'm dead. House is a riot, tree is up, looks like it came from Chernobyl. Gingerbread house made, already had emergency roof repairs using a rich tea biscuit, feel like a slum landlord. Haven't felt so happy in a couple of years tbh. They're in the UK for a couple of weeks, probably have to burn my house down at the end cos not enough energy for fun and games and housework.

Here you are ma lovelies! Just placing masel at the table. Hope you're not all too stressed and coping with Christmas.
Pretty much all sorted here for a minimal time due to my recent cardiac journey and couldn't be happier. No tree this year just fairy lights everywhere, Indian takeaway for Christmas day and you can take us as you find us. Normally I'd be stressed out ma box but some things are more important.
Mr Hoopy and I going for a swanky (non-beige) fine dining meal on NYE's eve coz if I sit in the house I'll just cry.

@hopethishelpsallthebest you and Mr Hoopy would be besties. He checks all the dates before we buy whereas I just shove the stuff in. But yes even I've noticed stuff is like a day or 2 ahead.
