Presents all bought and wrapped (finished it today), food shop done except for the veg which I will get on 23rd. Did an M&S Christmas food shop had £230 in vouchers so only cost me 60 quid. And yeah I know it's a lot but I have a lot of people to feed over Christmas plus have also bought the New Year party food too! I'm all done, which is just as well as I'm off to Cologne for the Christmas markets on Thurs!

Agree, I was at M&S at 7.30 this morning it was lovely and quiet and plenty on the shelves!

Well ma lovelies, I am back up and running and feeling much better. (Still coughing like I am on 40 B&H a day though).

Today I have been to see the new Wallace & Grommit at the cinema. (This is the new one thats being shown on Xmas day, but my son has been obsessed with Aardman forever and wanted to see it on a big screen), then we had a takeaway with ma daughter tonight. It’s full on Xmas and events every day now. My presents were bought and wrapped ages ago so I am up to date there, but I have bought zero Xmas food. 😳

Tomorrow in between seeing a family member in the day, and a movie night with other family members tomorrow evening, I need to fit in one mahoosive trip to that small business Asda around teatime.

I have a huge shopping list on my phone that we have all added to, and I hope i can just do one big, expensive trip and that’s me done. 👍

I had no idea there was cinema screenings! My littlest is autistic and wallace and gromit is one of his special interests, he's so excited for Christmas day bless him 😭

I don’t know if it’s on in all the big cinema chains but definitely some smaller ones. I have consulted Mr Google and it looks like Showcase Cinemas at Paisley and Coatbridge may have it. 🎟 🥰 xx

Looks like it is also screened at the Picturehouse cinema chain in London. Obviously may be sold out but worth a look.

I don't suppose you fancy doing my Christmas shopping for me, I'm still no weeellll, starting tae feel like Beak. OH keeps telling me to go back to GP for antibiotics.

We are massive Royle family fans too 🥰. I do skip ‘The Queen of Sheba’ as it came out just after my mum had died, and I cried and cried, and I’ve tried watching it since and I still struggle. “New Sofa” is probably my favourite episode of anything and we have watched it many times already this year, but I think I will watch again. I have seen The Cockfields but didn’t realise there was a Xmas one so will search for that too.

An amazing Xmas special, which I can’t believe I forgot to mention is Young Offenders, (featuring Robert Sheehan) and their new Xmas special is on next Friday 🥳

Oh no, sounds like a nasty dose of Beakitis. Get awww cosy, get that Lemsip poured and your Grinch jammies on, and you will feel better in about 6 weeks, during which time you must promise to moan every single day about how you're the illest person in the whole world ever!
