yeh it’s a shame they suddenly grow a backbone when it comes to belittling other women… but when it comes to the lacklustre men surrounding them… crickets

just another element of the misogyny on the show; in this case, internalised.
Precisely. It frustrates me no end that the blokes on the show who cause all the arguments and toxicity get off completely scot-free, and are awarded the "bestie" badge by the very women they screw over.

Her name's India Shaw-Smith, if anyone's interested.
She couldn't be more opposite to his weirdo ex, Emma. Bar Fred, Digby is probably the only bloke from that show who doesn't make me wretch and deserves a decent partner 🙃

For the love of god, he is a spring onion. 😂
Heee, I know, but someone mistakenly said "celery head" and I can't not find it hilarious. Personality-wise, I'd say it's more comparable😂

I dunno, Digby definitely has had his sexist, fuckboy moments

I'm trying to remember 🤔Was it when he was with Emma? I didn't like the fact he never called out his shithead friends for sleeping with then quickly pieing off various women, but he's always seemed like a good egg in his own dating life. Compared to the rest of them anyhow!

I think so! I can’t remember specifics, annoyingly. I don’t think his sexism is as obvious but then, none of them are super upfront about it now. Spenny used to be full on misogynist back in the early MIC days but I think among younger generations now, it’s known that that is no longer acceptable so it’s been toned down hugely.
It sort of creeps its way in every now and then and then you realise they have a certain mindset that is ever so slightly unfair to women.

My view is I assume all guys are this way on MIC until they prove otherwise. It’s the sad reality of the show (and others like it). It attracts utter dickheads of both sexes and it’s easier to assume they are all dickheads until they prove you wrong.

Spencer was another level. He was full-on abusive to Louise, and brazenly so. It's outrageous when you think about the amount of tit he got away with, yet it was always brushed off as he maintained his mantle as loveable rogue.

That's a very good observation. I guess they're all pretty vile in their own ways. I wonder whether the screentime massively gets to some of their heads and turns them into arseholes, like Joel, who seems to really be revelling in this "I want to protect my energy and tell my truth etc etc" bullshit he spouts every week.

Is anyone else cracking up about episode 3 James and his Japanese knives?😂

Initial thoughts on the episode 4 preview...did anyone else have to double-take Harvey's date, who looks exactly like Georgia? And Paris can fully get in the bin for that nasty comment about Yaz's dress. What an absolute witch. I used to really like her.

I can understand the tension between Paris and Yasmine because the way yas speaks to other women is nasty and she always makes sure to play the victim. Even the way she answered Verity’s question was way too much. It’s very telling that her closest friend on the show is Miles who is pretty problematic and she’s never called him out.

There’s something so slimey about Miles. The way he went to comfort Yas after her breakup and then they started laughing about how they were secretly dating? Holding hands and staying round each other’s houses - all while lying to their friends about it? Wtf was that about. You just know he was delighted to hear she’d broken up with Guy so he could swoop in.

I don’t know when this series was filmed but she went on Miles’ podcast in early Feb and said she was with Guy then so I assumed they were still together now? Maybe not.

It felt nice to see Liv and Tristan. All the cast now so is so…BTEC.
