I don’t know why Ollie and Gareth insist on throwing a huge party every time to reveal they are pregnant? They’ve been through this 3 or 4 times now and it hasn’t worked out. They obviously are more than aware of the risks. (And from the next episode preview we can see sadly it didn’t work this time either). So why don’t they keep it to themselves until it’s been a few weeks and they are sure it will work before they announce? (Is it an attention thing?!)

I feel like the producers find any excuse to throw a party, to prop up this progressively, unutterably dull dying horse of a show. The parties always throw up some form of chaos or drama. I remember someone saying on Twitter last year that Ollie had a birthday party on the show during a winter episode, despite his birthday being at a completely different time of year

Poor Gareth got a rough deal in this photo. Melissa, Ruby and Yasmin seem to be the only ones who come out well in it

Emily is so self absorbed, ignorant and boring!! She’s completely unbearable
She enjoyed having dysentery because it made her feel skinny, what a dick, that’s up there with Maeva and Georgia’s obsessive bloat massages, if not more fcking dumb. She really is a stupid ignorant bitch, don’t like chatting to or about lame arse Harvey come off the show, stop making boyfriends your personality, the girl is an egomaniac.

Eeek she can be a bit nasty cant she. The scenes of Bali are definitely stunning.
Felt a bit uncomfortable for Yaz it’s pretty obvious there’s nothing major going on between her and Miles. Issy came across a bit jealous tbh, she’s not quite got over the fact Miles didn’t want her. This “chill and have fun” vibe she tries to pull off is a bit desperate honestly as it’s clear she wants the opposite! She seems super young and naïve, the cast are a lot for someone so fragile. I don’t get genuine feelings of attraction from Harvey to her, never did. Either way Harvey is a twat & so is Miles.

izzy is a classic pick me girl, no judgement though, at her age I was similar without realising.

its not ok that she is kinda jealous and manipulative though, theres a real nasty streak with Izzy that I can’t sympathise with.

male or female, someone who is desperate to be validated/loved/in a relationship… it’s so unattractive. It puts so much pressure on the other person. It means that the desperado isn’t really being true to themselves or what they really want and so… not a good person to be in a relationship with. They aren’t looking for a deep connection, they are just looking for acceptance.

I hope Izzy grows out of it soon, for her own sake. It’s hard to watch her internalise the rejection.

Do you reckon this will come out on the show? Surely not? Also, I'm trying to comprehend how and why two beautiful women are fighting over Harvey. He must have some kernel of something that somehow enchants the opposite sex. Ideas, anyone?!


Re Miles' unyielding vitriol towards Harvey - it must be the alleged prostitutes rumour, surely? I'm not his biggest fan but it sounds (from the podcast) like he was keen to make an effort with being civil/friendly to him in Bali, but then another shitstorm of rumours came out which undid it all.

I don't really know. But Miles is a sanctimonious hypocrite. I will eat my words if it is something really horrible. But self hatred and loathing probably does cause a lot of tears eventually if you always hold it on in.

Oh yeah, he's horrendous. Though the only person he doesn't screw over and whose back he'll always have no matter what is Emily. He's a very silly, immature man-child who's got a lot of learning and growing to do. The fact he still holds Maeva accountable for his emotional issues and complete inability to treat a woman with respect five years after their break up is unfathomable. He says he's been/is in therapy but I find that hard to believe. You're right - anyone who goes around behaving like that and treating people disposably is usually full of self-loathing and unresolved issues. I'm behind as well, though I CBF to watch these latest episodes half the time

Harvey’s self pity and tears are all crocodile to ensure insta like, fans and lager sales, they aren’t at all genuine. I’d propose he thinks what’s he’s done is cool. Harvey comes from a life and upbringing of being told he’s special and perfect.

James Dunmore has returned?! Oh, the Brazilian I swear they deliberately get love interests on that look like Miles to stir up drama between him and his former flames I agree re Ollie - it feels like Groundhog Day at this stage and is quite heartbreaking to watch over and over again. I wish them the best luck with it all though.

As a home worker, this thread, among various other websites, sits in my multi-tabs for me to dip in and out of, as a bit of light-hearted respite for my brain, when I take a break from doing actual work - a concept you're probably not massively familiar with. There's some good humour on here and some of your co-stars are likeable, despite the show going massively downhill since its days of yore. Comments like this somewhat solidify what an incredibly unpleasant and antagonistic person you are.

I strongly suspect it is. The way they've commented in the past - it comes from a very personal place. Plus, the tone, diction and turns of phrase used are very much idiosyncratic of Julius.

Miles is only “best friends” with Emily because she is the only girl to say no to him. Which he can’t handle and wants to stay close with her because he is hoping she will one day sleep with him. Every female friend Miles has on MIC he has either kissed/slept with. He can’t be friends with girls without feeling the need to hook up with them.
