I think Miles’ hair looks fine. But he should get a fade with a nice edge-up next. He’s a stunning guy and that cut would show off his mixed looks more (I can say that as a mixed person) which I would like.

I took a long break from MIC when Hulu in the US dropped it, but have been catching up from season 18 on now that it’s on Peacock in the US. And…wow. I miss the days of Caggie, Spencer, Millie, Hugo, Rosie, Binky, Louise, etc. This current group is not it. I remember liking Maeva when she first started but, Jesus wept, she’s a nightmare now. Habbs, Jamie, Harvey, Ruby, Verity, James ugh. Awful. I still like Sam Thompson but I can’t believe he took Zara back after what she did to him. Zara is like a real life muppet. I wish Paris had a bigger role but meh, she turned out to be dull. Emily is boring but basically okay I guess. I don’t know. There’s no magic in this current crew.

Eeek she can be a bit nasty cant she. The scenes of Bali are definitely stunning.
Felt a bit uncomfortable for Yaz it’s pretty obvious there’s nothing major going on between her and Miles. Issy came across a bit jealous tbh, she’s not quite got over the fact Miles didn’t want her. This “chill and have fun” vibe she tries to pull off is a bit desperate honestly as it’s clear she wants the opposite! She seems super young and naïve, the cast are a lot for someone so fragile. I don’t get genuine feelings of attraction from Harvey to her, never did. Either way Harvey is a twat & so is Miles.

I agree. Dislike him but I find him refreshing tbh. He is not with the shits. A lot of people are irritating me this series but he isn't one.


Other thoughts...

Miles is honestly the worst. Even Julius is more tolerable to me. Julius was just trying to be a bit positive about Harvey and the fact that he is trying to grow and feels shame because he acted in a shameful way and Miles was making faces. Yasmine needs to stop telling Miles things because all he is gonna do is keep trashing. I just get bad vibes and negativity 24/7 from Miles and that whole crew.


I can't believe Olivia and Tristan really came to a baby shower without a gift. That is just common courtesy. But still, it is sad that James can't just say what he really feels. He sends mixed messages amd backtracks and Tristan really looks hurt and like he was trying to be cordial. I think a good olive branch would have been a small gift or token for the baby.

Emily really thinks her boyfriend looks like Richard Gere? She wishes lol. But Emily does look very happy. I thought it was cute how much she was smiling with him/almost beaming. Hope it works out for her. I can see why Emily thinks Harvey's shame is him acting like the consumate victim but I don't get those vibes from him. I get strong self hatred and loathing vibes from him. It is hard to work through stuff like that when people like Miles act all smug and superior.

Finally, I think Emily is my favorite now.

Re Miles' unyielding vitriol towards Harvey - it must be the alleged prostitutes rumour, surely? I'm not his biggest fan but it sounds (from the podcast) like he was keen to make an effort with being civil/friendly to him in Bali, but then another shitstorm of rumours came out which undid it all.

I did wonder😬So it sounds like Harvey has embroiled himself in a whole other shit-heap of scandal that's unrelated to his aforementioned cheating. Emily said in the podcast that another wave of revelations comes out in the Bali episodes (which makes you think what else he could have possibly been up to amid all the other shit that we already know). It all sounds very dark and he must have a lot of shit going on under the surface that needs serious addressing.
 
The way Harvey is acting with the supposed self hatred, guilt, the dramatic self pity and woe, seems to stem from something more - my guess there’s some kind of awful depravity at play here. Sure they’ll skirt around it and give us half the story like they usually do which is irritating. He comes across as spoilt, dumb and sinister (an horrible concoction) and I have zero sympathy for him. And why does his hair look like a wig these days, it’s a terrible haircut.

He's always been an odd bloke, am surprised he lasted so long in relationships with Habbs and Emily. It's always struck me as perturbing his inability to convey emotion and "dead in the eyes" expression, even when someone's raging at him. Him crying in these last couple of episodes really shocked me and must point to some really dark shit. The hair really affects me. It's like a stick-on hair-piece. As a first act of redemption, I think he needs to apologise to everyone for the barnet situation.
