Tbh her going after Verity was a witch made move too. Sure Verity is unlikable but she was telling the truth about James. James just got to turn it around on Verity and call her immature and bash her and say she had two braincells and is vapid. Knowing all this, shouldn't it say something about him that he still chose to pursue her for a bit and then used her for sex? Maeva is funny a lot of the time but she gets to hide behind being 'real' when a lot of the time her reactions are just uncalled for or unhinged. She should really be looking at dealing with her emotions better because going into your 30s still acting like that and blowing up at people is not a good look.

Completely agree. I was team Maeva until I rewatched the series. Now I found her really toxic and I think it’s a bit icky to keep on the show for entertainment. They broke up 2 years before she was even on the show so it’s really weird that this is still a story line. I also don’t think her and miles are soul mates, she was in her mid to late 20s and I think he was 18-21 when they were together.

My personal theory is that she’s bothered that he started exploring his sexuality after her. She seems very set on male validation and her perceived attractiveness.
 
I think Julian has paid the producers to bring him some girls in to pine after him , he was lucky if a girl even looked in his direction in the past now suddenly he's this player who thinks he can afford to mess girls about, there's no other explanation can't understand the attraction

there’s no attraction, they just see him as a potential to be a series regular if he takes a shine to them

she was being a total pick me with mikes, saying whatever she thought he wanted to hear and then backtracking when she wasn’t saying what he wanted to hear.

the break up scene when she started crying felt a little bit close to a tantrum. like a kid cryin when they’ve been told no.

running to maeva (like why?! Of all people?!) felt immature and weird

Goading miles about maeva being right was manipulative.

being in love with him after a handful of dates?!

she’s not in love with Miles at all. She’s in love with the idea of being his girlfriend, of being the one to “tame” him, the idea of becoming an MIC golden couple and series regulars.

she’s definitely too immature for this show.

speaking of being young, I just miss Heloise (jamie's ex) on the show. I remember she was super young when she first came to the show ? like 19? but i got the impression that she definitely had a good head on her shoulder
 
I know this word gets thrown around a lot but I actually think Maeva is verging on bullying Miles now.. I can’t imagine being this horrible to someone I once cared about when I’ve moved on, got engaged and have an actual baby on the way… let miles live his life jeeeez it’s so embarassing imagine if this was in reverse, James had an ex that he kept being awful to and slagging off 6 years later when he was engaged and had a baby on the way
 
I’m just catching up and have some venting to do haha

so this girl miles was seeing fora couple weeks thinks it’s a good idea for him to get therapy because he rejected her 😂😂 talk about high opinion of herself. Also, he said he is ready to settle down and she said herself that she was downplaying what she wanted.. well… Miles doesn’t know that does he.. he’s actually doing the mature thing by ending it to look for something right and someone who is ready for it..

why is everyone feeling sorry for Sam? Because he cheated on Inga and now is moping around acting like a victim.. and I usually like emily but she hardly has a leg to stand on with Inga and Harvey considering her and habbs were best friends …

also already commented on Maeva but you can tell she is pissed that Miles is now ready to settle down and she is far from available. Maeva would really struggle if Miles did find someone and settle down I think, she really needs to get over him considering she’s engaged and having another man’s baby!!

I loved it when he said something along the lines of "I really hope that when I do meet the one and want to settle down, that you are not in my life". I felt like he really meant that.

Agreed if it was a guy getting involved in his ex girlfriends life so much it would be considered stalking and harassment.

Not just bff but ROOM MATES. Like so fair to not want to see ur first love hooking up with ur best mate in ur own home tbf. I never got how Emily thought she wasn’t in the wrong. Also odd how she tried to turn it around to become the victim. I notice that is a recurring theme of the show.

Spoilt brats who have never had to take responsibility or apologise hahaha part of the fun of watching is to just appreciate how money doesn’t buy morals, sense or class lol
 
Issy comes across very young and naive, although quite a manipulative move leaving the Cotswolds and heading straight into the arms on Maeva. She is a very pretty girl. I assume something will now happen with her and Harvey. From Harvey’s chat with Emily, it’s clear if she took him back, absolutely nothing would change. He is so clearly not ready for anything serious. I absolutely love Emily’s confidence and self worth - she is a good role model for young girls for that at least.
I do not remember Melissa being this pretty?! Was her saying this is the only heartbreak she has had, a dig at Harry, implying she wasn’t heartbroken by the end of that relationship?
