Ruby definitely has an additional ethnicity which is why she is darker skinned, like Sophie being Iraqi I don’t know why they’re hiding it. Additionally Ollie also obviously has to. I understand they may not have links to these families/heritage but to proclaim their looks and colour comes from a bottle is just kind of insulting on many levels.

I'm just watching the latest episode.
I actually love Julian the life coach. The Prince life coach session was amazing, loved how Julian flipped it back on Sam and walked out. It was cruel of Liv not to warn Julian.

Riz and Ruby are pathetic, they still act like teens, probably because that's the age she was when they got together. Although if she didn't do anything I can see her point. She can't even have a laugh with her mates without being accused of cheating. I've been in relationships where I've been treated like a naughty kid and it still affects my behaviour now.

Paris is such a beautiful person inside and out. I love her values and her kindness. The world needs more Paris and less Liv.

Digby and Emily are pure cringe and need to end it. You can't be with someone out of niceness.

I know I love how Julian handled that! Sam Prince didn’t know what to say, just sat there doing his “what planet is this” smile trying to rile him up and got him nowhere. Yes Julian!

Yes I posted this in the last thread. Jamie revealed on private parts podcast a few month ago, that her dad is Iraqi.

I am not white so my perspective is that although they are fairly young (Sophie and Ruby) and people love to push the idea of a post racial society (which is laughable imo but it is the narrative pushed) they very likely had some difficult times when growing up and in their circles. So I am going to cut them a bit of slack with this because acceptance and self love especially pertaining to race and ethnicity can take some years to grow into. The messages you get in your household have to be strong enough to combat prejudices from the greater society. A lot of times they just aren't. And sometimes when you are half white (as some of my extended family is) it is ignored completely. Especially if you can pass. They need to learn to love their features but that takes a lot of self reflection and inner work. A lot of it can be painful so some people rather suppress and ignore.

I admire how Paris talks about these things or at least tries to talk about the challenges she faces with dating at times and the issues with self esteem that tie in directly with race/ethnicity etc. because it is relatable to me and honest.

Ollie looks awful these days and when did he become the book of knowledge on relationships and giving out advice because before he got with Gareth his dating history and relationships were car crashes so I’ve gotta say I hate this whole thing in this latest season where Ollie and Gareth are like the daddy advisers to the rest of them 🤦🏼‍♀️

exactly. She doesn’t do anything other than PR for clean, aka selfies on location and Instagram posts. Her “business partner” (a guy called max i think?) is the brains behind it. She was invited on board because she was the vegan chick from MIC who could offer exposure to the restaurant.

my guess is that the producers know she’s not popular and she’s fulfilled her purpose of being the bitchy girl (Liv seems to be morphing into that persona these days) and they don’t need her for that role in the next season. Her storyline concluded when she made up friends with Inga. Her whole point has always been to be the girl who dated someone to “shake things up” and come between a girl and a guy who are potential love interests, to act as competition.

my guess is next seasons storylines will focus on the friendship and will they/won’t they of Emily and Miles, wedding planning of maeva and James, Liv and whatever dramatic car crash of a relationship she’s in and maybe some Rev/Ruby cheating.

I agree. I can't stand Ollie these days.
