Tristan and Julian on the other hand love it. They are so similar it’s uncanny, both with inflated sense of self and genuinely believing that their opinion of every matter is warranted.

Their fighting was great. Harvey looked very uncomfortable (an expression besides bored for once lol).

Tristan is insufferable. "I have found her attractive HISTORICALLY."

That's a new one.

And yes, in another world they would be mates if Tristan hadn't already found his other soulmate in Rez.

Ugh 4od isn’t working for me and it’s killing me! WHY! It’s always only ever for MIC as well!

How do all Chelsea girls have the same figure, looking at tiff’s hen do they literally all have the same tiny bodies 😃

I knew a girl who was closely associated with lots of the cast.. friendly with a lot of them, moved in similar social circles, same background/outlook/aesthetic etc. They really are cookie cutter versions of each other..

ANYWAY she had a a similar figure. Extremely thin and petite. Her figure was very childlike and frail actually. She had a bonafide full blown eating disorder. A lot of them do I’d hazard a guess.

I think when you move in those circles there’s actually a huge amount of pressure to look a certain way, behave a certain way etc. They are fairly snobby. and when everyone else is working out constantly and restricting their eating - that sort of behaviour is easy to adopt.

Definitely!

Once Maeva posted a story with the caption along the lines of "filming is over now I can finally eat". Sad.

Changed my mind about Verity and Julian this episode.
I like how he brought Verity and Inga together to get them to make up. For once his meddling wasn't annoying!
Also how he told Liv he didn't agree with what she did with Sam P, I thought he would just take Liv's side, but he didn't. I like that.
It was nice how Verity apologised to Inga, she seems slightly less like a pick-me girl now.

Digby messing Emma around is selfish and I feel sorry for her. First time I've ever disliked him.

So sad to see Maeva upset. I really like her and I'm surprised she hasn't made more genuine friendships in London. She's misunderstood because French culture is different from ours (I've lived in Paris and speak French).
This is an example of why just because you're rich doesn't mean your life is fulfilling.
If she had a job or a career in London (influencing doesnt count 🤢) she would meet new people, make some friends, take up some new interests, etc. She needs to move away from this fake MIC crowd and make real connections in the real world.
She would find herself much less obssessed and involved in her relationship and nailing James down in marriage. Seems like she sits at home bored waiting for him to return and her attention is 100% on their relationship.
REALLY hope that James cheating is just a made up storyline.

Sam Prince is 🤢🤢🤢

Someone else on here said Liv is slowly turning into a washed up hag and will end up with no one. 100% agree. She's been so spiteful and malicious this series.
The way she told Maeva about James cheating just because Maeva was sticking up for Inga, was a really nasty thing to do.
When she was confronted by Julian and she said "Sam's the one in the wrong, I didn't do anything wrong." Unbelievable! Inga was HER FRIEND.
NO loyalty or morals.
She will end up alone.

Love Emily. How she has handled herself with Harvey is so healthy. She is civil with him and doesn't seem to be angry and is getting on with her life. She has the confidence that she deserves better, which is rare to see in MIC, so glad to see it. She knows her self-worth 👏

i think your summary is v spot on! Liv has really come across as terrible this season. Has she had a personality change or just benefitted from favourable editing in the past? In her fight with Inga a few episodes ago I was really shocked that she dragged Inga’s relationship with Sam into it - it as totally irrelevant and completely spiteful. To act like somehow she was more “entitled” to Sam because Inga had met him at one of Liv’a parties was a weird stretch of entitled mental gymnastics. I’m glad Inga stood up to her.

curious as to what you think some of the bigger cultural differences are for Maeva? I did think it was heartbreaking she said She had no real friends - James is clearly her whole life and she must feel very isolated in the country with him, in a place far away from home.

I honestly don’t think I could be friends with Liv, she never ever takes responsibility or thinks about how she makes people feel. She fully thinks she can do what she wants and nobody will say a word cos they usually don’t for some reason. How many more of her friends ex’s is she going to get with and then play victim?! At some point you have to grow the duck up and realise you’re the problem!

I Forgot how Liz cornered Maeva (in a club?! On a night out?!) to confront her about James cheating, like in what was was that appropriate? I guess do anything for that screen time. It was like she was cornering Maeva as though maeva had done something wrong.

and when Maeva tried to sweep it to one side (because who wants to talk about their boyfriend cheating in a nightclub?) she absolutely refused to let her.

vile human. She used to be the darling of the series but she’s become an absolutely gross person.

I think that the way that she speaks is very abrupt, seems very opinionated and this all comes across as very rude.

For example a few episodes ago when she video called her dad after proposing to James, her dad immediately said something like "Maeva I think that was a stupid thing to do. Come on. Be sensible" (something along those lines?) Even though she was hurting and her ego was shot, he just said exactly what was in his head without a filter or tiptoeing around her feelings.

Imagine if Emily had proposed to Harvey and he said no, Emily was humiliated, upset, etc and Maeva said so bluntly "that was a stupid thing to do come on Emily" I'm sure there would be outrage among the girls.
Not sure it's a good example as obviously a conversation between parents isn't exactly like a conversation between friends but I think in French culture you would just say it anyway?

I dont think I've explained this very well or giveb a good example 😂
Not sure if you've seen Emily in Paris and she arrives and the Parisians are "mean", it's a cliche but honestly there is some realistic writing in there I think 😂
