totally agree, Bella just needs to move on with the tatters of her dignity now, Ruby has actually proved to her she can get poundshop Peter Andre back whenever she wants so let her have him and take your annoying monotone and droopy energy elsewhere, pleeeeease :rolleyes:

that makes more time for Nicole and Imogen who both have the chaotic energy I'm looking for!

Jas dumping Freddie in front of her new guy was actually the cringiest thing I've seen since Spencer told Louise him cheating was her fault - and WHY is Hugo already starting to use a semi-Chelsea accent already - you've been there two weeks! 🥴

I remember she claimed to be an avid churchgoer and virgin yet always had/has her buns hanging out of skimpy tops.

I remember reading she disappeared so abruptly on the show after getting in a violent fight with her brunette friend in front of production. I think her friend exposed even more about the Diego timeline/situation and attempts to gold dig with Richard lol. Richard was truly dumb for falling for her act.

Kimberly was so transparent and not to make things a religious attack, but the sing song/demure voice reminds me do much of Christian fundamentalism in North America and in particular the US. In some groups the women are trained to make their voice in the same manner as Kimberly as the men claim it is so they can be "pleasing" daughters and eventually wives. That sort of voice has always given me the creeps but it seems very ingrained in the culture. I have no idea about her denomination of course or if that sort of brand of Christian fundamentalism is even a thing in the UK like it is in the US but those are my thoughts lol.

Oh my gosh, yes, I remember that now! She got into some really nasty altercation with her friend who had the most ridiculous parody of a posh accent. Forget her name. Kimberley was a great actress, I'll give her that. Unlike Ruby, she was good at turning on on the tears and being somewhat convincing with it. Well, convincing enough to fool bonehead Richard. Slight sidenote - was Richard autistic? I mean that in all seriousness. I always got that impression from him. He had a better emotional connection with his robots than he did humans.

Not sure what denomination she is, but she's still proclaiming to be a Christian. Yikes, didn't know that about the fundamental lot. She always reminded me of a Jane Austen character with the way she spoke. Fictional in every sense lol.

I just found this hilarious IG post by her from a few years ago. May as well be captioned "I went to a Christian conference and am a massive Christian, oh and btw check out my hot near-naked, legs-akimbo bod while you're here".

It may be a case of her parents thinking she would have more opportunities with her mums surname, the name Yasmine is arab too but still pretty accepted in the uk

Her/Sophie Habboo and Ruby are all quite quiet about their heritage and its probably for more opportunities to work with brands if they seem more "white" , and the sad reality is that working in the uk they probably do get more opportunities because of this.

Post uni I intially struggled to get a job and I have a VERY foreign sounding name (arab first and last name) and at times part of me wondered if it was due to my name so I don't really blame them for that. I love my name regardless btw.
Paris has significantly less followers than any of the other chelsea girls, she rarely gets storylines and has been on the show a lot longer than some of them, it does make you wonder how much of it is down to her skin tone

(sorry if I've worded anything distastefully here I get it can be a touchy subject and have tried to avoid offending anyone with the words i chose)

I never understood her attraction to Rez. She's a wannabe edgy Shoreditch hipster type, while he's a flashy-watched-strutting-down-Knightsbridge-with-my-LV-manbag type. Two different worlds.
 
Bella dresses how Ruby used to dress tbh. Before Ruby was on the show she was a very cool, edgy girl. Lots of chunky silver jewellery, Great Frog London rings on ever finger, chunky boots, quite a few tats…now she’s made herself super generic and boring. At least she had her own style before. She dresses like tit now. I hate that grey felt bomber she keeps wearing. It’s far too big for her.

I had no idea she used to look so different only a few years ago! These are all from 2019, she looks like a different person!

memorable average girl going. Get a grip of yourself, you’ve just heard he’s getting into taxis with Ruby and meeting for lunch and you’re still trying with Rez?! He’s pretending he doesn’t know if she wants to be his girlfriend, she couldn’t be begging for it more than she is!!! He is into Ruby clear as day. Have some self respect duck me

Nah can't get over him becoming a professional grabby bastard.making online his "job". His whole life is now gifted. Meals.clothes.food. sofas etc.holidays.travel. yuck.
The amount of boxes he came back from holiday to. A dozen.gifted! Or free.
His views,especially around Miles and when drunk he turns into a rude vulgar boy not the man he is. He seems to be regressing. He used to be so refreshing.

I did notice none of the other girls followed her on social media, plus normally when a new girl arrives she’s quickly claimed as a bestie and integrated into the group - take Yas for example. Similarly, every time a new girl has been on the show, all the guys are quick to date her. I don’t think anyone dated Paris (other than Angus if you remember that). It’s really awful. She should have way more screen time. She’s the most interesting girl for sure!

Wasn’t she claimed as one (a bestie) with Verity & her friend who was on the show at the time?

Imo she just isn’t shown as a nice person, I find her incredibly irritating and rude! They tried to drum up sympathy for her during the whole her & yaz fall out after years of (supposed) friendship 🙄

Right. If Rez really likes her he would cut off contact with Ruby without her telling him to do so, let alone not honoring it when he saw Ruby in person.
And it just amused me to see that Ruby all of a sudden needs Rez and holds on to his contact and friendship as if her life depends on it when she is very single (No Nicholas No Miles). Oh right i thought the two of them were "best friends"?! I seldom see any so-called friendship between Miles and Ruby on screen now.
