As per my message in the other thread, I think the sudden and strangely inconvenient timing for a supposed rehab stint has been sparked by Sophie getting found out and desperately scrambling to make amends for her actions.

She's proven herself to be a very dishonest person on the show, so much so that Emily cut dead their friendship for several years because of her (what I believe to be) lies about Harvey and the nature of their friendship. I've never gotten good vibes from Sophie and think she's as two-faced and deceptive as Melissa.

With that in mind, I can't see her admitting to her new husband Jamie that she cheated on him, with her ex of all people. If all this speculation is true, I think she's been rumbled and is using drugs as an excuse for her cheating.

That's hysterical 😆I feel kind of bad for the guy, but only because he's one of the few decent cast members on the show. But I imagine he'll do fine without subscribers. I'm pretty sure he lives in an apartment in what used to be the BBC building in White City. One-bedroom flats there can cost up to 3k a month🥴

I remember the Bali episodes and some IG story posts at a nightclub there. Let's just say Miles and Onion Head looked abnormally sweaty and energetic, and definitely like they'd enjoyed some sherbet.

As much as I can't stand the bloke, fair play to him for being honest. Whereas the rest of them think the public are completely stupid and go to great lengths to pretend they're squeaky clean. I remember Binky vehemently denied having any part in ❄️in that pic of her, Jamie and Louise next to a table with the rolled up banknotes (or whatever they were). Yeah, whatever!

Also fair play to Lottie Moss for admitting she had a bad coke habit. Just confirming what we can all see with our own two eyes.
 
I personally wonder if Sophie has developed the ❄️ habit from her desire to be slim.. I know of a few Chelsea girls who often refer to the coke diet and I can, very much imagine Sophie being quite desperate to remain as slim as possible and maybe becoming addicted..

Or maybe it’s nothing like that and she’s genuinely poorly/health wise. Whatever it is I hope she’s healthy and okay

There's still an element of homophobia there I think. The suggestion is that the love of two male parents is nowhere near as adequate as the love of a Mother alone.

I definitely think a discussion will come at some point in their older years about the structure of their family in the context of wider society's norms, but I hardly think not being a heteronormative family will derail their lives emotionally. They'll have plenty of loving women figures surrounding them.

Babies need mums, biology and evolution don't give a tit about what's "hetronomative" or woke politics.

Yes a baby can be raised without one, or with a different mum to who birthed it, but there is a psychological benefit to the child to be raised by the birth mother. To deliberately deprive a baby of their mother is cruel.

To say anyone can provide the care a baby needs harks back to outdated Fraudien concepts of cupboard love.

I think the dad actually said it on the podcast ep he was a guest on! Also listened to the one with her sister on and she basically said she’d been absolutely hassling him to propose bc they’d been together so long lol

Biology and evolution also don't take into account that there are also biological mothers who do not like their children at all, were compelled to have children they didn't want under various circumstances or mentally struggled to connect after doing so.

Parenthood is extremely nuanced and complex and I don't believe the idea that inherently a Mother figure is always beneficial as a presence. Don't forget that the idea you have around this is relatively new in Western society - for many centuries, Mothers especially higher in classes - were actively discouraged from breast feeding and thought it relatively unusual to be around their children 24/7 in their early years.

We have had many generations raised before us with relatively late or somewhat distant engagement from their Mother figures. Even the loving ones. It's complex.

100%. They got it spot it. And he couldn’t stand it. The clip right after this was him crying to his daddy on FaceTime. You can tell his parents have never told him about himself, ever. I really can’t stand this man if y’all couldn’t tell by now 😂

Haha good theory😆I mean, I can't imagine Melissa using the word "misnomer" in a million years. This is the girl who didn't know what a clitoris was. Or maybe she used a thesaurus to make herself sound different/smart. There was some other weird post by @meltattam where they denied Melissa had a lip job and that she used lip liner but then stopped because Harry didn't like it. Such random and specific information😅

I do think she looks dreadfully unwell, some of pictures I’ve seen very recently where she looks a bit vacant and thin remind me of Amy Winehouse at her most vulnerable.

I never minded her on MIC and think actually her and Jamie are both quite well suited and really hope she is getting help for whatever she is going through.
