She will be shocked when she finds out what a real hike is ! She should go to the french Alpes or even closer go and do some munros in scotland !Where did you find them?
I just can’t think what I’d do with the house to make it feel nice. I’d want my bedroom upstages that’s for sure. I just wouldn’t want a house where most of the rooms were based in a dingy basement. There’s nothing you can do to create more light where it doesn’t exist. I’d much prefer a traditional layout of a house.
Ive said this before, but they bought that house for the big window in the kitchen. The rest of it is mediocre. They could create an amazing garden and woodland but they’re clueless and too busy faffing around with adding crap like raised beds and bee hives and hot tubs.
Why does she insist on calling walking, hiking? It really grinds my gears! Hiking in the UK is basically climbing up a mountain. Walking in the countryside is just that - walking. They call it hiking in America. Speak ENGLISH Lydia. You’re going for a Sunday walk. Well done.
I love how Lidl’s definition of a “hike” is walking on the side of a road, or walking through fields, to get to pubs. She must look ridiculous walking around town with her hiking boots, short shorts and tight white tee.
its more a pub crawl then 'hike'.They do seem to like doing pub crawls.
It has a garage. That's where they've put the big freezer and olf fridge to store all of their beige foods.I think the master bedroom is where it is because i think the previous owners were elderly, going by the original decor. I do wonder if that was even a bedroom when the house was originally built or was the ensuite added later?
To me it looks more like it would have been another sitting room.
Maybe as they got older or maybe one of them became ill, they may have felt that it would be easier to live in the one space. Hence having the bedroom, kitchen and living together. Being close to the front door for emergencies. That's really the only explanation I can think.
Either way, its not a house I would have bought. Especially as it doesn't have a garage.
I'm surprised that Carrie doesn't pull her up on this, after the hike Carrie did earlier this year.I love how Lidl’s definition of a “hike” is walking on the side of a road, or walking through fields, to get to pubs. Is it my eyes or have Ali’s teeth turned grey? She’s back on thehikepub crawl BS again. Second stop!

Oh I thought that was the shed? How can you have a garage for food and not put an Aston Martin in it?! OmgIt has a garage. That's where they've put the big freezer and olf fridge to store all of their beige foods.
