Just came here to say this:
From a vlog or two ago, Lydia exclaims:
‘I can’t believe the life I’ve curated for myself!’. She’s in awe of herself. She believes her own hype. All these rooms in her house that are being re-done for the umpteenth time have new names, like ‘the club room’. We will no doubt have a drawing room next. She’s putting wooden beams everywhere so she can pretend she’s posh. She needs a new pool table. The old one just isn’t cutting it anymore. Like Ali’s hair. It’s all befuddled these days.
‘There’s fresh bread on the island - I feel like I’m in a story book…’ . You are, love. This is pretend. It’s so much effort to just be someone who you’re really not. Watch her old videos. She honestly speaks like she’s from a completely different part of the country!!!! She is trying to do clipped English and it’s just faux, faux, faux.
‘I just don’t know why you wouldn’t wear cashmere when you’re out in the cold…’ well Lydia, some people can’t afford it! How out of touch is she?!!!! Isn’t it sad. Uggh. I still watch her. Why?!

I do not think for a minute they originally planned to build in painted cabinets and shelves. The bench, lighting, and hung art reveal that they finished the room as she "designed" and now both hate how dark it is and she thinks... Oh I'll just put in a painted element to lighten up the room vs admit she made a massive mistake. The built ins she spoke about will be bulky and take up more floorspace. The last thing needed is shelving for decor in there and she's not realizing it will become the focal point of that room as you walk in and as you see the space from the other rooms. All they need is maybe baskets with towels and yoga mats/bands.
Maybe this is Ali coming up from a nap in the dungeon when he originally went to work out.... fell asleep lol

As far as I know from my SA, they have no say in quota bags offers in the UK now as the wish list is administered centrally. That’s not to say that earning them commission isn’t going to help with being offered special orders or making sure you’re prioritised when non quota items come in, but theoretically you just need to register your wish and wait (and probably remember to renew the wish). I got offered a Kelly in London in 2023 (Cadogan Place) with <£1,000 of spending history in a bit under two years, having renewed my wish once. Probably helped I was after a bright colour in a larger size rather than a neutral smaller bag. I expect it you’re after say, a black Mini Kelly or Birkin 25, you are “competing” for it with more high spenders, but it’s definitely possible in London now and I’ve seen accounts of other people having similar experiences of getting their wishes after only having made a couple of other purchases.

We have two different experiences and that’s all good!. Like I have said before maybe it’s changed since I was buying. It can’t be the first time you have heard of the “Hermes game”. It absolutely happened to me and others . You are benefitting from an easier ride it seems which is fantastic if you are looking for the bags .
I 100% regret playing the game and spending so much especially when I only got 1 bag but we live and learn. It’s a pity I just happened to like them at the time, before the kardashians and every other tacky celeb bought them. They have lost their lustre for me and I’ve learnt to look at what I need so a top handle and long strap also Birkin as weigh a lot when empty never mind with items in . I do like Kelly’s however but think Launer do a nice traviata uk made version .
Lydia uses the same bags with every outfit she has and it doesn’t always work.

Not to Lydia-fend but a lot of people go through their entire life and never work out childhood traumas such as a parental separation. She really isn't abnormal in this regard, however she has been a cow at times with how she chose to pose the issue, especially in regards to her mother and her financial situation, which made her seem very transactional and materialistic. I do hope she moves past it and makes her peace.

I don't believe Lydia for one minute that any professional crew or person in the industry or any person for that matter, said to them they want to use that space for filming in the basement horror room.
The only people that might show some interest and think that space is useable for filming in the underground wood room, is a kinky porno director to film footage for people that have some weird wood fetish, or to host a bondage party involving hooks and chains, handcuffs and whips. It’s that sort of vibe down there. You never know, Ali might partake in the action with his many pairs of socks down his pants, but instead of wearing his beige trousers, he might go rogue and wear some leather studded jocks that's been hidden in his sock drawer for special occasions'.

After watching her latest offering, I think the days of the wooden ceiling are numbered, that's going to be painted shortly. Also wondering what sort of storage she can get for the weights that will take up less space, she just wanted something less modern.
She is obviously coveting Josie's Gym so it could have been a better idea for her to swap the gym and the office, so she would have been able to let in the fresh air to the gym. That bigger (current gym) space would then have made a good big office.
Bring on the fake fireplace, her decor ideas just keep in giving. ;-)
