This wont be the first HC colection by Victoria right? they have had her for a time now. Lydia as far I understand is an embassador of HC too?

In my opinion Lydia would be much more better for HC than Victoria. And Karen Millen should already let go Lydia. I dont think any young influencer should work with KM. To me that's an old boring ladies brand.

Lydia spends much more time in the country side than Victoria. That's why I think Lydia would fit better with HC. But we all know brands make zero research when choosing who to work with.
 
I admit to liking the kitchen, except that sink right up against the wall is poor planning, really awful. Who wants to stare at a wall and then have to constantly wipe it down from the soap and water splashing. Not to mention the food splatter during the rinse off. At least add another sink in the island.

Saying that, at least 90% of what Lydia puts into or onto that house would be something i would rip out and toss in the trash.
Yeah, i know, she doesn’t care what anyone thinks. If she ever does try to sell, she’ll care then.

Case in point: those two old lady, ‘viola’ prints she was creaming over that she chopped the tops off of with her bad frame job. Too small, too dreary, just No.

Also, some randoms, way too many white same-y dresses. Maybe Wash your hair more Lyd. Give up the nose fillers. Pay attention to the weiners. They are a mess. They’re either sick or crying or humping. That’s all i got right now.

Oh, one more, It’s obvious you’re bored. Another house won’t fix that.
 
One of the reasons she is redecorating room/bathrooms is because she is running out of content...

-No brand trips apart from KM
-Hardly any brand deals so no parcels to unopen
- Cant film at Soho farmhouse
- Cant cook
-no idea about gardening and looks so uncomfortable potting plant
-Cant style an outfit to save her life

So it's redecorating rooms, pretending to garden and drunk hikes.

‘There’s only one thing I like more than gardening, and that’s gardening and wine.... and if I could have my best friend gardening with me.. and wine.... together.....and Cawwie has started planting her seeds... she facetimed me.....

The mistakes she made "renovating' the bunga was to touch it in the first place. The kitchen was fine but was re-done (greyed out) way after moving in, proving that the kitchen with sofa seating area was bloody fine in the first place, as was the dining room. The bloody place was all fine and in keeping with it's style from the start!! And Lies Lydia you didn't plan to renovate the place when you first moved in, you were just obsessed with getting your dressing room done. And all you added were the sun loungers on the patio when you were the sunbathing, bronzing, sun worshipper you were. And you were done. You didn't give two hoots about the garden back then. And it looked better back then too, incl the modern white marble top on your dresser. Ali's office is now over the top and looks like a studio set up to boot which it is - for the gram.

She has copied and learned and bulldozed through since she's been on this mission. Poor Josie, she has copied the look and feel of what Josie's listed house in the Cotswolds is. It all started from that point. Instagram wars on interiors except she's fighting herself. House is out of sync with what it should be.

So my pennies worth on hc!. Vics done loads of collections yes twice a year for many years now . She won’t earn what Lydia is earning for km but nice job.

I think the fact Vic isn’t country is exactly why hc hired her. Vic brings a bit of fashiony looks to the brand, normally she’s more in a white suit or super punchy tartan, she’s not in green tweeds super traditional (although she did design the brown herringbone suit).

lydia imo is useless as a country ambassador. Hc was traditionally a “country tart” brand. They started selling tweed micro mini skirts in about 2008 ish at country shows.

For years it was worn by farmers daughters and maybe farmers wives . Proper country people who shoot , fish, tend to acres, ride etc etc . Lydia can’t do any of these actual country pursuits . Just because she shoots hc in a field doesn’t mean she’s spending lots of time in the countryside . She really isn’t. She doesn’t have a country background and is an outsider to the country scene .

this time was her first time ever bothering to go to Cheltenham. That tells me she’s never wanted to go before . It’s tweeds and a lot of country folk type scene . Nothing like royal ascot … she didn’t really want to drag herself to Cheltenham but drying up of work and her desire to try to be relevant and elbow in a bit is why she went imo.

she’s a country fraud and of no use to hc imo . Jades using Leonoras footage more than anything Lydia has done . I don’t sing Leo’s praises at all but Jade will realise Leo is posh, looks good, clean image (other than the constant alcohol !) plus can ride , plus Leo (even though she hides it) does attend her fathers game shooting days and Leo wears fur (Jade loves fur and used to use it a lot in her hc brand but jades super dry husband told Jade she should cut the fur from the brand so she reluctantly got rid to make sure hc is as commercial as possible to the masses )… to fit in with the upper echelons of the countryside people Lydia is trying to emulate you need to have a talent on at least one country per suit be it riding and looking like you know what you are doing, shooting, fishing posh rivers such as the river Test on the Waitrose estate etc etc being in hc in a field isn’t cutting it

The hc office is above the Cheltenham store. It’s a small office and very close knit little team inside there . Reports of Lydia’s unpopularity will of ripped through the office and there’s no way Lydia will ever get more than she is currently getting from hc .

hc started off using Rachel Carrie but cut her out for commercial/political reasons. Shes a daughter of one of the country’s best pheasant shoots Dave Carrie. Rachel is an incredibly talented shot herself and has been in the press for shooting all sorts over the years clay and game . Even using Josie is a slight stretch but at least Josie lives in proper country side and hasn’t come from such a chavvy background as Lydia .

Even if she is size 2 or even 4 or 6 or whatever, theres no way she is 5.6 or 5.7 in height. I am 5.7 and a size 14 but I still look quite slim. Are they American sizing for Lydia, even so it wont be near a size 14. I think shes 5.3 or 4 at most. I cant remember seeing her when she was standing next to Josie but I think Josie is around the 5ft mark I dont think lydia is that much taller

I'll have you know this granny's bungalow is nothing like the bunga.😄😄. I'm 72 and my vintage boho decor is flippin gorgeous. It gives me a hug when I come home and everyone else who visits. I cant see how that pair can feel all cosy relaxed and happy in that whatever it is

being as Ali hasn’t got a 5 yr plan he is taking things as they come, she’s not the brightest , yet she’s manning the ship, I think she’s realised she’s 3-4 yrs min (if KM continue that long - I’m shocked they have renewed even) , from getting a decent deposit together for a Cotswold pad.

im shocked they would keep the bunga . It serves zero purpose . A large costly house like that is no good return wise as an investment property. The return is higher if the funds are split into smaller houses … surely she would never live there again and it’s no use as a holiday home . It’s crazy to leave that much £££ tied up . I believe she’s got a lot of equity in the bunga.

meanwhile Cotswolds is expensive and anything with land is very costly. Josie has an acre (and the house sits on it so not even one acre) for perspective. I’m guessing Lydia wants an acre of formal and godknows what type of garden … if she bought an old , unathletic nag, well she needs two because they need company then that’s two more acres needed min , she might want to pretend she’s growing more and get a gardener in to do the hard work 😂 maybe half an acre there . She’s probably after a 4 acre property . She won’t find anything in the top Cotswolds areas - the super quaint places because they are ££££££ . If she goes about 25-30 mins from daylesford close to Stratford she could get house and land for 2.5m min but there aren’t many knocking around.

why won’t she just sell up and move sooner? I can’t understand that. It would make for content. She’s only been faffing about lately painting for content if she’s not selling .

has Karen Millen told her this is the last time she’s getting renewed and panic has set in and they are playing for time ? Making excuses to see what happens next financially ? Covering up any panic?

Your questions imply Lidl is realistic and financially savvy while all of her choices over the years have shown us she is neither. There is no chance she could afford to keep the bunga, she says that because she fancies herself some real estate investor soon to be the owner of an actual stately home. She is far from.

Just seen her beam idea for the bathrooms 🙄. When will she get it into her thick head, NOTHING she ever buys will ever make that bungalow even remotely feel old, characteristic or country style as it’s a red brick building. Surely she must have toyed with the idea of pebble dashing it with white stones to make it look like a cottage or even plastering and painting it green. It can’t be that it was too expensive as it’s priceless to get rid of the red brick. I’m guessing it’s because they would have to remove the wisteria and other wall climbing plants that they’ve had for years or some planning rules that prevents them from doing so.

I would bet money that these two muppets think they can get around £2 million for this fur-coat-no-knickers bungalow. Actually, I would bet they NEED to get that much at minimum to be able to get out of there. Meanwhile, this is the kind of house that is in that price range within that general area. And nevermind trying to compete with Buckinghamshire pricing. She is in Northamptonshire and no potential buyer will let her AbFab her way into "Holland Park" with her pretentious nonsense.

"Tearing out the dressing rooms" isn't as effortless as Ms Lydia implied in her latest vlog. Whoever wants to convert those rooms back into bedrooms will need to rebuild those rooms from scratch. Not many people with young children will find that appealing.

They will be lucky if they find someone to buy it at the value it's currently estimated. Since they have spent at least double £246k on renovations and improvements to this lemon house, I imagine the thought of only having acquired £246k in additional value since purchasing will make Lydia physically ill. But if they have to get out of that £1.3 mortgage asap, then that's their only option and will probably put them in an even worse financial position.

Oh they totally overpaid still they might be able to get 100-200k more in selling it. But after all the money they have spent on it, they basically walk away with nothing. So if they buy another house, it will have to come out of whatever savings they have left. And with her career dried up, that savings is essentially their retirement. They don't have the finances to move into a Jose-cotswold listed place. Lydia's ego can't stomach not having those instagram photos to show off. So she must be in a real pickle.
