Many Americans, myself included, may not fully understand the intricacies of the class systems but we do respond to authenticity. To be fair, whether the house was large enough for a thousand people is neither here nor there... what a fool Elsie is. The twin sisters who hosted the gala are wonderful philanthropists who have raised 18 million for diabetes research through throwing the doors of their house open year after year. I applaud them. As a mum of a type 1 diabetes daughter, people who devote themselves to research of this horrible auto immune condition are, in my eyes, absolute heroes. I would gladly donate my pancreas and swap positions but, unfortunately, her immune system would attack the new pancreas so there’s no point. Stem cell research is really hopeful though so even in ten or fifteen years it would be a wonderful life changer. Thanks to women like these two, we might get to see that day.

I hope your daughter is as well as possible 💛 My husband is also type 1, and will soon be starting kidney dialysis, which means he’ll go onto the transplant list, and they’ll be transplanting both his kidney and his pancreas. Crossing everything that it works out when the time comes!
In the meantime, he’s about to get his Omnipod, which he’s very excited about.

I love watching her pretending how calm and kind she is with her lost suitcases. You just know she was fuming and losing it at the airlines, fuming so much that in the vlog she starts dropping her posh accent and her "ings" "feelin" and gettin". Nice to see a brief glimpse of the old Lids.

The crawling to her American and potential American audience was quite something, I wonder did she gain some American followers from her love of her new idol Meghan hence her lack of any Coronation footage. Then her pretence of having a huge American influence to her style whilst lying on her bed in an Erdem dress, a brand that is from the UK, that Princess Kate wears, the same Kate that she pretends she doesn't copy. A dress that she pretends she bought 4 years ago, when this style was only available 2 years ago. I guess she wants us to think she was the original wearer of a floral Erdem dress before Kate wore a floral dress to the Chelsea Flower show. We see your lies Lydia 👀

This makes me extremely sad. The whole Daaaarby footage reeked of Hunger Games Capitol experience and let me tell you, that ain't cool. As a proud animal lover, I could not stomach going to one of these things even if I was paid. It totally had to be Garden Gnome's gig.

Lydia, how can you claim to be an animal person, yet attend such a grotesque, downright awful event celebrating animal abuse? DO BETTER!
