Watched the Josie Versailles vlog. Boy did she feel like a fish out of water being with that group and at such a big gig.
And I’m sorry… WHO wants a greencake made from nettles that are supposed to taste like spinach crossed with cucumber?!. Lydia how about a salad or vegetable item?

She’s using the Julia Berolzheimer model: JB wears a $900 dress to go to lunch with a friend, then “curates” all kinds of collections in her Amazon store, because she knows her followers can’t afford what SHE wears, but they ASPIRE to be like her so buy what she finds, recommends and links. In the case of those Amazon stores, the curators get $ when people buy from them, but Amazon isn’t a “partner,” like we typically think of them with influencers. I assumed that’s what Lyds is doing. (That way, she’s not responsible to Amazon to uphold any kind of work product…)

Lily of the Valley has over 40 cardiac glycosides in one plant. She’s placed this one plant just at the right height for the enquiring noses of the dogs and the cat. Every part of this plant is poisonous including the berries that come when it’s flowered. In fact, it’s one of the most poisonous woodland plants. So your room smells nice! Well done! Another deja vu. Here’s an idea - when you scroll through your phone all day why don’t you take the few seconds it takes to ask an intelligent question about the safety of ANY plant/ flower you bring into the home when you have pets? This has been mentioned so many times…

I watched some of Amelia's Versailles vlog. I don't like Amelia or her style but well done to her for actually filming and showing us the trip. That was content not nontent.
I could see Grossie goofing around in the background looking awkward.

Edited to add that I'm sure I saw Harrison, Vic's hubby, there. He was wearing a beanie at the table. So out of place...ugh.

As for nettles in a cake....WHY? Just why?

The ultimate duck you would be if Nicky starts being invited to influencer events. I think with her following, it could definitely start happening… she’s on the peripheral of a lot of these friendship groups.

In regards to the Lily of the Valley, my mother always buys me poisonous plants when she comes up to visit, literally every time, despite me telling her that they will kill my cats. It’s such a waste but she thinks they’re pretty. Some people just never learn.

I’ve just watched Amelia’s vlog and really enjoyed it - im surprised! She and Fleur were definitely the most appropriately dressed for that event. Fleur’s a dick but she understands dress codes outside of her usual enormous dress and biker boots.

Harrison is in Amelia‘s vlog with an orange beanie! I know he takes the photos but he still grinds my gears because he lives off his wife same as Splainer and possibly Leonora's bloke. (I know Leonora wasn’t with them on this trip) Josie does look super uncomfortable in the background. I don’t think she’s at ease with the other girls at all. The other thing I noticed is how much fake smiling goes on. It’s like a toothpaste commercial at times. All seemed a bit superficial. At least no one was fake laughing loudly or shrieking loudly over nothing as it would if Elsie had got an invite. She’s SO overanxious to show she’s having a really good time that she overacts it ... It’s very tiring to watch isn’t it?

She can’t do stuff the rest of us can because she’s committed to scrolling. Nothing else.
I’ll make you a nice nettle cake though - just as soon as I send out my personal nettle collectors and re-employ a new chef. Honestly, I don’t get a minute to myself...Tch!
