I was trying to remember when all this 'dresses' obsession started, and it wasn't when she moved into the bungalow at all, I think it was when Teefers moved to the Old Rectum and started to wear more floral dresses. When Teefers lived in London she was all about the neutrals and pinks but she had lots of separates and tailored clothes. I think this is a direct copy from Lydia with the floral floaty dresses and they both wear them round the house and to prance around the garden 'fake gardening' in! Lydia says she will always wear dresses but she didn't used to and if she did they were shorter and sexier and nicer - she did wear Zimmerman summer dresses but not so flowery or frilly.

I actually quite liked her phase of wearing her haystack in the hitler slicked back bun with the Max Mara separates, white shirts, tailored trousers etc they suited her, and the fact that she's not herself and dressing up to water the flowers or open packages says how much she's relying on the affiliate links for income these days, and says she has no ideas of her own with fashion she's just copying others.

When she wears a more tailored outfit like the smarter denim dress from KM she looks better - she needs to really address her hair now as the Despina do has done nothing for her and she's only made it worse herself!

Oh the long bob was definitely her best look! By a COUNTRY mile.
Ironically she looked much more UPPER CLASS and put together.
Her hair, for that past 2 years has looked a sorry state.

This was the era of Lyds' friendship with Vic. She dressed her age. I quite liked Lyds' style during the Vic era as well as during the Claire friendship era (Choquette, not Cawwiiee).

Can’t remember the vlog on Claire Chanelles channel, I thought it was the Galentines one 5 yrs ago but maybe not. Lydia is at Claire’s house and Claire tells Lydia off for swearing in her vlog. Claire challenges her again by stating that she would never swear in someone else’s vlog so not to do it in hers.
Certainly when alcohol fuelled, the Fish Wife tones come out in Lydia’s language. Lydia isn’t placid and ladylike, she probably enjoys venting off at Ali as she always likes the upper hand and will always start an argument just to win it!

The girl on the right looks like Cawwiiee but, I'm not sure. The other 2, I don't recognise (well, I don't remember them being in any vlogs from the last 4 or 5 years).
 
Ugh. She is in a constant contest with her "friend" about how she can not only match, but surpass the greenness of J's home, whose house is grander (can't fight that one so I guess I have to move...), whose courgettes and cucumbers are longer, whose mange-touts are more scrunptious, (might as well stick a supermarket iceberg into a little dirt and pretend I grew it while I'm at it), who cooks better ( let it go lady), whose dogs are better looking boiz...copy copy copy...my God. I also can't get over her fake blubbering in the car over Flumi being "unwell", crying "uncontrollably" in a fake posh accent and her drama queen reactions to the tragedies ( that pot, OH MY GOODNESS) that seem to materialize around her.

I think I know when bit I cannot find the exact video although I remember it. It was definitely in the new house and she was trying on some dresses she would take with her on holiday. And she put on a two piece that she did wear on holiday, it was colourful and frilly, like a crop top and a skirt. The skirt was voluminous and she liked like all she needed were castagnettes. I remember thinking thinking it's so not her style but after that we saw more and more of the voluminous dresses.

I can’t remember exactly who they are but I know we have discussed them here before. One girl is Carrie and the other 2 may have been uni friends. This is the picnic she claimed was an annual tradition but I think only happened once or twice.

Neil is here - Carries boyfriend back then & Ali’s friend - that’s how Carrie came to know Lydia

What really surprises me is Ali says at the start of filming he has never had a picnic before

I think she tried to copy Nicky s beautiful hairstyle. 😂 However during the pandemic she over processed her hair and has ended up with a dry mess. I don t think Function of Beauty shampoo helped nor her hair vitamins plus she uses far too much heat on it. The long bob suits her much better

If I remember rightly one is Cawwie... at a much healthier weight.

I was a huge fan of her long bob too. It inspired me to cut my own waist length hair short, to the same style.

Despite being an insufferable witch, her fashion sense a few years ago was actually really good, which others mentioned in the thread. Those tailored pieces suited her figure well.

I don’t understand how she’s strayed so far from this…. Her style dying over the last few years is like watching a head on collision in slow motion, it’s a complete disaster but you can’t look away.
