I don’t think drenching dry hair in cold oil will do anything except further dry it out especially with the amount of shampoo you will need to wash it out. Plus oil molecules are to big to penetrate your hair so if you are going to oil your hair and scalp you need to warm it up first. Oil will also attract dust and dirt to your hair which then gets trapped in your hair follicles causing infections and scalp problems.

You could also argue that Josie has much better family values inasmuch as she is immersed in her mother’s welfare and well being. That is one thing you can’t take away from her, she is very loving towards her mother. She has readily identified the need to reciprocate all the love, care, attention and family money her mother has unstintingly invested in her daughter.
