I don’t watch much tv news but this is so refreshing from ITV after a lot of what we see of online press articles, spinning the more positive Letby stuff. I like how they included she kept leaving her baby which we heard about in the trial but those types of behaviour rarely get talked about in MSM.

Shame we didn’t get to see Peter Skelton KC 😍but nice to hear him tell her she failed those babies.

Whilst I think she was bloody awful, I still hold the exec as most responsible. They could have gone over EP at any stage. I look forward to hearing them be grilled too.

Didn’t realise she also claims to run a children’s charity Railroad Children which looks extremely suspect to me and there is a lady on X saying she has scammed money from families of sick children.
I always knew she was a fraud and a nutcase but I truly think she’s an horrendous person. Every article and bit of false science leads back to her. A scammer of vulnerable children, a domestic abuser and a fraud.
 
An article by Judith Moritz ahead of the Panarama interview that will be avaliable on iplayer from 6am tomorrow.

It will feature Dewi Edwards, Sandie Bohin and Michael Hall.

It is good to see that they have made it clear that it was Letby's decision not to call Michael Hall as a witnesses. I hope they mention that he couldn't explain some of the causes of death and couldn't rule out air embolism.

I find it interesting it was her decision. I wonder if BM laid the reality on the table and just told her look the prosecution will have a field day and it will look worse for you in the end and she went with that or did BM just offer him to go on the stand and she just refused in the end?
Oh to be a fly on the wall during that conversation.

I also wonder when she gave the back word on him being called? I wonder if it was before or after her own evidence…I wonder if she thought, in her own brain, she did so well on the stand that she didn’t need an expert to appear. I guess they’re right in that she’s the only one that knows why
 
This might be just an inference based on the principle that all decisions ultimately come from the defendant.

In the end it all adds up to the same thing: the trial was scrupulously fair and she had opportunities that she did not take. This is why her appeals will fail unless she comes up with compelling new evidence - you can't keep retrying the same evidence switching strategies until you get the verdict you want.

In the article they say that the test to detect insulin may have mistaken another substance for insulin. However they gave baby F double the glucose he needed directly into his blood yet his blood sugars remained low. Only insulin can take glucose out of the blood so logically there must have been insulin in his blood? These amazing medical experts seem to be grasping at straws.

I can now confirm with absolute certainty that the idiot that runs the Lucyletbytrials Reddit uses her moderator privileges to block the ability to reply to any comments that she makes when she doesn't want anyone to reply to the thread. Thereby giving the impression that she has had the last word on any negative comments made towards Letby.

I'm sure she is a fascist and she bleeping stinks

There's only about 5 people there who post under a variety of usernames. Corner them in an argument (which is not difficult) and they will throw a hissy fit, accuse you of arguing in "bad faith" then block you so they get the last word. Biggest bunch of losers on the internet

This 1000%! One of the arseholes is definitely that weirdo bloke that went to court for the appeal and has some sort of issue with Chester police. You can tell it's the same nutters because every negative Letby comment gets downvoted with the same amount of clicks.


The "bad faith" comment is always the go-to.
I have made a variety of usernames to troll the arseholes. You don't actually have to do anything wrong to get a ban. Other users can call you an hole and it's fine, but if you say Letby is guilty it's instaban

Tbf that’s most sub-reddits in a nutshell, you can’t say anything without first addressing any offence you might cause to anyone and they’re all so smug with their in-jokes and “source….?” type comments 🤢 I largely abandoned Reddit as soon as I got on tattle, as on here you can have a civilised discussion, learn from others and even politely disagree without the threat of getting banned or even doxxed!
