I have 4 kids, including twin girls and I’m renovating a house just like Lucy... and I’d love to know how she finds time to be a YouTuber! 😂🤷🏻‍♀️🙈 interested to see it all come to life though! I’m not local but sounds like a great project from what you’ve all said!! X

I'm pretty sure they have generous family help for whenever they're both filming something like a house tour, and she also advertised for an assistant relatively recently.

They arent self building, they went to a self build show for inspiration on materials etc. £400k is insane though, it wouldn't cost you £500k to buy a house that size from a developer so why would it cost anywhere near that to self build? My grandparents have self built twice in the past 30 years and definitely didn't cost them anywhere near that (also in Scotland).

Ah I didn't watch just read the title while putting the kids to bed.

Yeah self build costs are insane at the moment because materials are limited (Brexit and covid).

UPDATE ON LUCY JESSICA

1. She is still reading from a script and struggling
2. She forgot she has sons because now she has Twin girls
3. Jordan's voice still hasn't broken
4. They bought another house
5. She still thinks shes a top style queen in her granny floral dresses and mum jeans
6. Still obsessed with Ikea & Zara
7. New obsession with Rattan furniture and items because she saw it got trendy on Instagram, also wants to add more wood into her decor because its now making a come back
8. Still as boring as ever with no personality
9. Showed throw back pics of her pregnancy bumps when Elle was ready to pop. Incase people gave Elle more attention

OK, I need a recap on this as only just discovered these pair. What do they do for work, how can they afford a new house, pay for the developments and a range rover. They seem to be able to travel around all the time, do days out and eat out most days??

They made a profit on their own house, got a mortgage on their first reno and flipped it, and she's with Gleam so will get loads for a sponsored post for Matalan/Sky/Hello Fresh/etc. You don't need to work when you're an influencer with management.

As I said previously, FINANCE, FINANCE, FINANCE!
Every house financed!
You are not making a profit until you are mortgage free, ANGEL!

I mean to be fair you do normally make a profit on houses even if you’re not mortgage free. If you buy a house for £100k, spend £5k on it and sell it for £110k you’ve made £5k profit even if you always had a mortgage on it 😂
Agree.
Wether its finance or not they need the cashflow to meet the monthly payments therefore must be doing well work wise to afford it all regardless Not to mention 4 kids in tow.
Defo making a profit with houses which i assume they reinvest into the next reno. Either way they are earning from it which allows them to move on to bigger things.
If they could do so without any type of loan then they probably wouldn't be doing it to begin with lol
