I feel like Ben’s post are digging at Lucy and he’s coming across as quite salty. It seems like she is trying to qualify for the world champs or elite 15 in Hyrox and a few days later Ben does a big post about the best thing about hyrox being about the community not the flags 👀 a bit ironic as he seems to be constantly kissing that Hunter McIntyre’s arse

Ben is a loser, he’s never been able to handle Lucy’s success! He even went as far as doing a silly world record by carrying kettlebells around a race track to try and one up her! Embarrassing!! 🙄

maybe this is why she doesn’t share much about injuries lol 😂 but i don’t believe it’s torn.. she’s not shown any swelling/bruising and depending on the grade of the tear she would be out for weeks (12+ for a grade 3) but she appears to still have ROM
and is doing daily activities that wouldn’t be possible with a torn forearm.

Agreed! Maybe playing it up a bit as an excuse for not doing as well as expected on her pro debut? 🤷🏻‍♀️
 
I might have a bit of a controversial take but I’m finding the two of them insufferable. Ben with his pitty party single life posts and Lucy with the constant posting with shirtless men (most of who are in relationships) and now seems to be the finding excuses for performances. Not that she has to her hyrox time was still amazing
 
i agree. her pro debut was amazing and such a respectable time, credit where credits due she is a talented athlete so yeah no need to make excuses which i think is what shes doing. she’s been open before about the pressure she puts on herself and it does show. i was really excited for the america content but have found her insufferable, the constant over the top laughing has made me put the videos off. i hate the constant pushing bpn products too :(

sorry if this details the discussion often think about how and why loads of fitness influencers/athletes are constantly injured. a lot of running influencers i followed when i used instagram have suffered stress fractures. ben is the same he’s always got something. i have trained consistently for 7+ years now, a mix of strength training, crossfit and running. my training volume is similar to lucy’s, i dont compete or race as much anymore right enough (+ a full time job & high energy dog that needs lots of walking) and i’ve have minor injuries twice in that time, once was when i did my first half marathon at 20 with a sporadic training plan and during my first crossfit comp.
i don’t take any fancy supplements, no ice baths/saunas ect ect im either really lucky or all you truly need is a rest when you need it and a decent warm up/stretching routine 😂 i used to watch lucy’s and other influencers what i eat videos and feel guilty and worried that i eat too much but maybe thats also helping to keep me injury free

They all overtrain. The no days off mentality isn't healthy for anyone. Even Olympians have off seasons and deload weeks from time to time
 
Agree with deloading but similar to @lou96x i do crossfit, hyrox, run, train, strength train I think everyday? Take a rest day if I feel I need it, but it's the competiting/racing that cause me wee niggles, I don't look like I do though because I eat like a king and sleep a lot! Will say if my nutrition is off or bad sleep my training will be crap that day!
