Lucie Donlan/Luke Mabbott (Love Island)

There's literally no other explanation for this other than her being a racist moron. Yewande is pronounced exactly how it it is written, how on earth could you struggle with that name?

It's really putting her Love Island stint in a whole different light; the show managed to make her look like a victim quite well, but it is becoming pretty apparent why there seemed to be such a rift between her and the other girls. Should've seen it coming - those "I'm only friends with guys" girls are always insufferable.
 
And the thing is, if yewande was bullying they would’ve kicked her off straight away. Love Island kicked off sheriff for saying the C word even though many other white contestants had been way more aggressive in the way they spoke. I’m sure they would’ve victimised her at whatever chance they got, but the thing is yewande was mostly quiet, awkward, and shy. Lucie is really doing too much.

It's actually concerning how the show clearly protected her. Makes me think how many other black women on the show have experienced microaggressions but were expected to brush it under the rug because the producers don't want a racism scandal.

I’m from Ireland so I hadn’t a clue, I presumed it was local slang 🤷🏼‍♀️ Everytime she said it you could see the girls looking at her like she had 10 heads 🥴 I couldn’t stand her and I really wanted to get a hairbrush to her birds nest of a weave 🥴
 
Yes to this thread! Can’t stand Lucie. When she said she doesn’t have any girl mates just guys, right fair enough some girls are like that, but when she was saying trying to get with Tommy even though he said no (and she lied him first!) and she was still trying to be pally with Mollie. She’s not friends with girls because she’s a witch and only friends with guys because she loves the attention/is a hoe. She’s definitely one you wouldn’t trust with your fella. Sly, sneaky girl
 
How did this all start may I ask? What made yewande tweet that had lucie said something. I hope lucie has to suffer the consequences of this if she truly was horrible to yewande. I’m not for cancel culture and wouldn’t wish that on her, but if she’s pointing fingers at yewande and not owning up to her mistake, I just hope something makes her realise how disgusting that sort of behaviour is !
 
Lucie is BAD vibes. The way her and Luke even got together is so suspicious like why would you text a guy and ask if he is single???

Also in the video with Joe, Yewande never even named “Lucie” she just said that the girl that Joe was with before she didn’t like and was a horrible person and clearly fans have connected the dots. But I am confused about how Yewande has always bullied Lucie......

from the sounds of it Lucie has made comments about Yewande and called her a bully.

Francesca came in with Chris (Maura’s now boyfriend) towards the end. The most notable thing she did was couple up with Curtis when Maura was making her move. She’s been exposed as a racist post-show though, which is a shame considering she seemed lovely on LI. Also a fun tidbit is that she called Caroline a dirty p*do before going on LI.

Joanna was a Casa Amor girl that Michael chose to leave Amber for. Wes was in Season 4!

This is where the bullying accusation started.

I haven't seen what the original poster in that screenshot was referring to, I've seen Yewande tell Joe from s5 that she didn't like one of his exes, but i don't think she said 'horrible' so it must be something else.

she did say horrible, it was in one of joe's videos but she didn't mention her by name and tbf she's joe's mate (and amy's)? they're obviously pretty close and idk anyone who says omg yeah your ex was AMAZING when they obviously don't like them. lucie just has to constantly bring up the bullying accusations to make people feel sorry for her and it winds people up

Ah fair enough, I only saw that video once and I was naturally distracted by Joe falling off his chair laughing :P
