None of them are particularly funny or witty. It’s all so serious. Jake’s sense of humour is stuck at a 7 years old level but underpinned by an older guy’s sinister lack of respect for women. The farting and constant references to having a tit - he doesn’t give a duck about what they think of him. And he’s pushing their boundaries all the time. He’s actually gross. My skin crawls when he’s on screen.

Liam looks like he’s never cracked a smile in his life. Has he ever laughed, do you think? I think Faye is bored out of her mind. The fillers are unfortunate but you can tell she’s got some spark and intelligence about her and she’s desperate for someone to bounce off.

I really fancied Aaron until last night when he went off Sharon for wanting a career and an Aston Martin rather than to stay at home to raise his four kids. WTF. Did he teleport into the villa from the 1950s?

I wonder whether Toby might be confused about his sexuality bless him.

I agree about diversity, but I’d worry about contestants who are deaf/blind/disabled etc. I can imagine it must be isolating in ‘everyday’ life, but what are the chances of someone else in the villa being able to use sign language? Or no how to interact with someone in a wheelchair without being condescending? I also think they’d (rightly) have a lot of support from the public, and worry that other contestants would see it as an easy pass to the final.

(I hope I worded this okay, please correct me if not!)

We definitely need some ginger representation though - has there ever been a proper redhead on LI? I’m talking bright ginger hair, pale skin, covered in freckles.
Demi?

Imagine knowing someone a week and expecting a shag off them as 🤢 I mean fair enough if that's what Lib wanted too but it's just rancid behaviour, that's the only reason he even went in. He wasnt even looking to talk to her or anything, just wants another number to add to the book. Sack all these lads off! I'm so done with them already! Absolute bellends the lots of them (not you yet Hugo, I'll judge when I see the episode) Aaron being frightened that Sharon wants a career and a sports car instead of kids? Give over you welk, this isnt the 50s. Toby is taking the piss out of Kaz and its infuriating. I honestly believe LI always seems like the lads have the upper hand and the girls have to adjust themselves to be desirable which is very very gross. Can someone just enlighten me about what is actually attractive about Liam? I get Brad being attractive but his chat is so dry it's like talking to a fork but Liam isnt good looking and hes got the personality of a year 7 (12/13 year old) I just want a whole new group of lads. Faye rubbed me up the wrong way when Rachel wanted to talk to her and she made it all about her and Rachel just had to sit there. Controversially I can see why Rachel was upset. This lad had spent all day acting like she was the one for him and saying all these pretty words so she saved him and then he just walked off to the lads straight away, then going on to talk about getting to know other people?? Like it was quite obvious, to me at least, that Rachel wasnt in for that. I wish they would just read the room a little

Spot on and can see why she was upset too. Rachel was crying because she realised she’d essentially made a mistake and that she pretty much had a double ended tit stick to begin with choosing between those two bell ends! Even though she wore the heavy crown it wasn’t much of a great choice because they are both clearly players.

Change the lads, each and every one are pathetic bland man children. Jake being the absolute worst.

I agree with you too. Brad definitely lead her on and you could see in bed that they were dry humping. I could see why she thought they would at least try for a while and I think she had genuine attraction to him (looked like she was ready to get get jiggy in bed but had to calm herself!).

So for her it went from heavy petting in bed after a day of being chased to "we should be open to other people". That's something that could upset someone, especially in the weird Love Island bubble. I don't think they need to spell out that they only know each other for a day, but I think in the boundaries of the show it would have seemed to normal to have had a go at being a couple for a few days.

I agree with the posters saying that Brad, in particular is hard to understand. Only I feel that way about the majority.. it’s nothing got to do with the accents either, I can understand each individual word. Putting all those words together and the sentences that they form, I do not understand 🙄🙈 I cannot see this LI picking up as there are literally 4 likeable people in there. There is no humour, it is very dry 🙈

They are the opposite of Big Brother :( Love Island scout things like Instagram so you get on without applying. Big Brother was incredible for diversity. Heck we voted a foreign trans woman to win because we are a forward thinking country regardless of how much people moan about Britain being racist, homophobic etc. Scottish Mikey is a all time favourite of mine and he was blind. Love Island could learn a lot from that show.

I'm late to the party but Lucinda is absolutely stunning. I already feel bad for Millie because she's a beautiful girl but she already looks too mumsy for the little boys in the villa. That bob isn't doing her any favours.

I'd take a bob any day over the ratty extensions that the majority of LI girls have 😂 But I get what you're saying. The lads in the villa are all immature little f-boys who are looking for the same thing! Long hair/fake tits/rancid false nails etc. She probably won't be their 'type' 🥴

Oh god I like a bob but I think hers looks horrendous lmfao. Although I agree, the stennies aren't much better! I think Millie is gonna get her feelings hurt when none of the fuckbois go for her for sure.

It’s nice seeing the girls with shorter hair rather than the ridiculous bum length extensions 😂 dunno how they deal with such long hair haha

The more I think about this years contestants the more I find it odd they were signed of by LI management, even in the Boohoo ads in-between LI they are using one realistically shaped model.
I don't think they should've picked token disabled contestants or one or two larger men/ladies.
But just a normal selection of people you'd find in a pub/club.

With a year of BLM/Be Kind etc preceding this and the suicides it yes seems a bit odd that they've just gone with exactly what they've had before.

And what was that conversation with Toby about last night? I know i'm in my 40s but geez... why is he over analysing it so much... either do or don't it really doesn't matter that much!
