I don’t know if it’s just me that’s picked up on this but faye is so insecure that she likes and over obsesses over anyone that isn’t a competition to her. With AJ she said to lucinda and millie that she wasn’t worried about her and that she rates herself above AJ but then hugged her so much on the first night and over complimented her. She did the same thing with Georgia last night. She knows there is no way teddy could like her and doesn’t find her attractive so is treating her way tooo special, once again hugging and overcomplimenting her on the first night. She never said one word about abigail however, because she’s threatened by pretty girls and stays clear.Even with Lucinda she was like why didn’t u leave with brad and got so upset by it when it literally had nothing to do with her. she most probably wanted her to go so she would feel less threat.
On the contrary, I think she sees certain people as a threat and so becomes really good friends with them so that it makes it harder for them to steal her man. Keep your friends close and your enemies closer and all that!

I'm over this season, another bleeping recoupling tonight 24 hours after the bombshells arrive, Abigail Love pack your bags-she wasnt given enough time to steal Toby, he's interested but i don't think she'll be successful, the producers need to give the bombshells more time, its ridiculous throwing them in and having a dumping next day, the odds are stacked against them,Never remember this happening in earlier seasons, its a joke, Abigail could steal toby if given time but she wont hell choose Chloe, theylll make up and move on-boring! also why the duck are the boys picking AGAIN for the 4th time while the girls only chose once, its ridiculous
Absolutely spot on with this comment!!

I think this series is so dry partly because it's so obvious that most of the islanders have decided which role to play while they're in there.

Hugo knows the public love an underdog, so that's what he's selling himself as. A nice guy who's just unlucky in love. Even if his absolute dream woman walked in he'd pretend something was wrong because it would ruin the image he wants to project of himself if he was happily coupled up.

Liberty and Jake want to be the next big couple who get all the brand deals and joint interviews.

Lucinda wants to be the one that the public find endearing because she's so thick. She infantilises herself how Paris Hilton used to because she wants that infamy.

Chloe is playing up to the maneater role. She loved being the reason Shannon went home because it helped her in her quest to be the villain who we all eventually learn to love.

Faye is going for the "thought she was a witch but underneath it all she's lovely and just fragile" story arc. She knows redemption stories are always popular.

Sharon was trying to be the strong, independent feminist. That's why she brought up her career every 20 seconds even when it wasn't relevant to the conversation.

Rachel was trying to be a Maura, coming in later and being hypersexual.

Danny probably wanted to be the tough guy, but toned it down when the producers told him that that comment had been discovered.

Aaron wants to be smooth, and he so badly wants to be the guy who "doesn't care". That's what the trying to kiss Lucinda in front of Danny was about.

They're all constantly aware that they're on camera and deliberately sticking to the roles they want to be remembered for. The only ones who come across as authentic to me are Liam and Millie. They're not working to maintain an image, they're just having fun.

Most of them are bad actors and I find it incredibly tedious and fake, yet here I am allowing the show to take up even more of my time by writing this bloody thesis on it 😭😂

Does anyone else keep getting this ad on Instagram

You nailed this! so accurate

I’ve made a promise to myself that I won’t watch the next series (if it’s even still going) until I’ve heard it’s good.

I hope the producers have a word with Toby and tell him to pick Abi to spice it up. I mean how many times are we gunna watch the SAME re-coupling for duck sake.

One new girl goes home but not before they leave it on a cliff hanger, so we find out tomorrow 🥴 WHY have they absolutely ruined this show!?

Some great points made 👆👆👆❤️❤️❤️

There was talk on SM about Hugo being bisexual
Having a couple bisexual males would be so interesting as I feel bisexual females are more socially accepted (do you know what I mean?). I don't think they should have a separate LGTBQIA series, I think they should just have a cast that's more representative of society. 25-30 age group, not the typical love island type with a bit about them. Is that too much to ask?

Also feel sorry for Chloe, I like her. She's just a fun silly personality that yeah can be a bit cringe but she's the type that can laugh at herself.
