He has absolutely no chat, no charisma and seems a bit joyless. Georgia has been literally hand picked for him and he doesn’t seem interested at all. Time for him to leave - if he wants to be a butler he can go work on a Sandals resort or something. Waste of an islander‘s place.
 
Toby not talking to Chloe after being in the eliminations again is really dodgy. He clearly has sights on an influencer lifestyle and for some reason thought he would be in with a real chance of being a star of the show. I did feel sorry for him when he said he has issues articulating his words but at the same time its an entertainment show and its up to being popular with the public which sees how successful you become after the show. He just doesn't seem to have any personality or redeemable qualities.

Also if Toby had called Faye a 'stupid prick' he would have received serious backlash for speaking to a woman that way. A lot of threads are saying how amazing Faye is and justifying her being argumentative as she has 'insecurities' - don't we all but how does this give someone a pass to put others down and act on the defensive and aggressively
 
Has anyone seen the sizing on Lucinda’s clothing brand? They only go up to size 12 and it’s considered a large 😦

Eventually, hopefully sooner rather than later, the worm will turn.
I gave a lot of thought to my choice of words there, my eventual reasoning is that ‘worm’ is just perfect, he is even beginning to look like one.

But with Women's Aid putting out statements again and again about gaslighting etc, use of racial slurs, the sad loss of Caroline Flack, I think it has had its day.

with the current "same old same old" set up - yes i agree but i think there is a place for a love island that features people of all body types / people with a personality , people with disabilities ( sorry but a club foot is hardly the same as someone who uses a wheelchair/ lives with a real disability) . People who are gay, people who are trans etc etc -
LI is now basically a set up that features people with zero character !
 
Hugo should leave cos it’s obvious that he isn’t making any effort now. Said he didn’t like fakeness and now this girl Georgia has came in (so obviously sent in for Hugo) and because she showed interest he’s backing away…. I think she’s stunning. Defo something off with Hugo

I really liked him to begin with but now it’s clear he’s playing a game. He literally has had zero chemistry with anyone. and while I understand that, it’s like he’s not trying at all. As I said, I did really like him to start with but now it’s almost gone the opposite way. I can’t believe he turned Sharon down when she said maybe they should give it a try, and now he’s turned AJ down, who he chased, resulting in Sharon having to leave.

It’s weird he said a girl hasn’t come in and shown interest but AJ was interested? Now Georgia is showing interest and he’s still looking to pull away. Maybe he’s just so uncomfortable and outside his comfort zone but in that case maybe he should leave.

Feel like I'm banging on about it but the casting has been so poor. Most of of them have zero communication skills (looking at you Toby) and can barely string a sentence together (now looking at you Lucinda). There's really not a lot for the women to choose from either. Definitely needs a guy in his late 20s to balance it out (Jamie Jewitt style) but it's probably too late now.

S2 and S3 seemed to be the peak, and you could clearly see that the cast of S2 actually wanted to be there and enjoy the experience. Now it's just set up scenes with bleeping stupid cover songs in the background and a bunch of people trying their hardest for a PLT deal 🥴

i completely agree! at first it just came across as him genuinely just not finding someone yet, but by this point his behaviour just isnt in the spirit of the show which is unfair on the girls coming in who are actually willing to put themselves out there... his comments about not having any luck in the villa so far were so jarring like as an OG he's had the same opportunities to get to know everyone as everyone else, and its pretty offensive to AJ who essentially just got booted bcs of his apathy towards the whole process
 
The one thing I am liking about this year is how welcoming they are to the newcomers. Its so cute and I hate that toxic "ugh who does that witch think she is comi G in here for the exact same reasons as me" we've seen in the past. Admittedly though, it has resulted in less drama, and also just shows nobody feel threatened by them 😅
