I think Ciaran is closer with Ayo and Josh so would prob vote for Joey and Sean but Nicole is friends with Matilda so can’t imagine she’ll allow that! I do think they’ll all get a vote except Ciaran and Nicole tho and I think in the first look it said anyone who receives a vote is vulnerable so 🤞🏻

I didn’t even see them because the episode was too cringe so I fast forwarded almost all of it but look what YOU made me do ….. colour me influenced, beauty box on its way!
 
So the islanders will be sending the next couple home. What will I bet it will be Joey and Sean sending Mimi and Josh home! I really fucking hope it’ll be Joey and Jessy leaving. How he has lasted this long in the show is completely beyond me.
If he doesn’t drop her as soon as he gets out, it’ll be another Sam Faiers situation 2.0 as she’s already having to act like his mum and keep him in check!
 
Genuine question, and as someone who’s a reader (and clearly a watcher)

Why is it every single year there is a particular girl everyone obsesses over and if you don’t like her you’re called racist?

It’s a little bit crazy.

I like Jess, I liked Diamanté, I genuinely wanted Mimii to win with Ayo until she was shady - but now if I was to share my opinion and the fact I don’t like her I would be called a “hater” and “racist”

With all the ofcom complaints and it’s actually terrifying logging onto twitter “x” I refuse to all it that…

It’s really starting to ruin the programme and the fun of it all why can’t just everyone have their own opinions without it being so angry and made into such harsh and detrimental accusations?!?

It’s just made me completely zone out and I’m sad as I’ve always loved love island 😒

@Teddybear1994 I agree, people turn everything into a witch hunt now. They’re all leaving negative reviews on Sean’s sweet business the last week. It’s so cringe and you’re clearly lacking critical thinking skills if you can’t accept that we are seeing less than an hour of the day, production choose to chop and edit clips to suit their own narrative, and a lot of the challenges/big conversations are scripted. Prime example only yesterday was Ciaran being made take Joey to the jewelers to get a necklace for Nicole, he literally can’t stand Joey. Plus Jess ‘the prize’ said on a podcast that people go to production with worries about how they’re being perceived and they change things around or hide things based on that.

even if you hate him, why on earth go to his page you haven’t even ordered from and leave reviews? That’s so wild to me.

all because he’s had fall outs with someone you’ve decided to back like she is your own family - she doesn’t even know you exist!

did you all see as well that on Twitter there was a huge huge huge amount of people voting on the app app, deleting the app, voting again, over & over again for that game where they had to stand on podiums.

I don’t understand how you can be so invested and have so much unneeded time to do so. I wish people put this passion into other things and the uk may be a better living place lol

Also at this point I just want to back Joey and Sean simply because I’m sick of the witch hunt. Not even for the contestants

I'm not really sure how to answer this for you. Only because I've never noticed anything you are describing on here. Here are my thoughts:
1. I don't think people tend to obsess over one particular individual as such. Majority of the contestants have their audience. Some of the 'fan groups' are larger of course. I suspect Nicole’s audience mainly consists of Welsh people? Had there been a Polish contestant, I would have probably have a soft spot for them as that's where I was born. This year, I enjoyed Harriett, Grace and Jessica. Not sure what that says about me?
2. I also don't think people 'hate' Mimii. My guess is it's her dodgy actions, lack of integrity at times, that were the issue here. I feel it's OK to have an opinion and express it, we all have our own moral compass so naturally we feel passionate about stuff we see or hear.
3. I agree with you re 'online mob mentality' ha ha Some people do actually take it a little too far, but as always it's minority.
4. Finally - just enjoy the parts that are enjoyable (albeit limited this year 🤪) and ignore the stuff that causes you distress. If you need to sound off, you can bitch away on here, as long as it's in a respectful manner 😊

I think it’s only a certain amount of rabid fans on certain platforms that would accuse you of that. I defo think most people are on the same page about mimii. It is annoying that people become so obsessed and I think it’s more obvious this year because it’s been such a poor series that most casual viewers have tuned out or stopped voting so all the pandering is going on the “fan favourites”z

Gosh I’m so jealous of you.
I’ve had people come for me all of the years that I just don’t bother now…… I see the comments though, insta, Facebook, twitter. Everyone being called racist for not liking Mimii - when I think it’s obvious she wouldn’t have the entire nation backing her after the terrace situation…. It’s like people choose to be blinded by her. She literally wanted to plan the terrace situation BECAUSE Nicole told her to go for it with Ayo. Like ???????

Yes this is why I find it funny when people say they hate Joey. Let’s be real? Hate him all you like but how shit would this show of been without him lol
