Love Island 2024 #16

In regard to how love island could be better, I agree with all the points made by everyone so far. Id also really like to see less of the constant sexual truth or dares (3-way snogging , toe sucking etc etc), challenges that are basically excuses for the girls to writhe around in bikinis covered in water, the parading around in lingerie for the hideaway....even the sexy dance challenge could go for me. It's not many people who'd be comfortable having that stuff preserved on itv player for eternity - it basically restricts the pool of candidates to people who are prepared to never go back to a 'normal' life and job. It seems pointless to remove the alcohol to 'protect' them then constantly forge them to do all this sexual stuff for the camera.

Agreed! It’s so repetitive now and all been done before. Occasionally something like “snog the islander you’d want to be coupled up with apart from your current partner” can set off something juicy and a new pairing but other than that it’s a bit much! And that stupid balloon popping sex position game

I’ve come here to say I find Joey Essex extremely fucking annoying. He plays up in every single possible way for the cameras. It’s embarrassing. He absolutely adores himself too but why are they giving him so much air time.

Also here to say that I don’t think Jessy is in to him at all. She is using him as a ticket for a bit of fame. She can do way better than him and she knows it.

OK then, not heard it before Taylor said it, it drives me nuts when I hear it.

Each couple has to vote for the two couples they feel are least compatible.

I assume it’ll just be Ayo and Jess and someone else, probably mimii/josh.

Matilda/sean, Nicole/Ciaran and Jessy/joey are all up each others arses so they’ll be fine.

The vote seems pointless as it’s not going to lead to any surprises and it’ll be Ayo/jess leaving regardless who they’re in there with.

Shittiest final four I think we’ve had.

No way will Mimii and Josh pick anyone other than Sean and Joey to go, so everyone but Nicole and Ciaran likely to be up. Think we might lose Jess and Ayo though, and looks like they know it from the first look
