I kind of understood his insecurity about the correlation of ‘being younger = must be immature’ to a point, but at the same time I wonder if that bothered him so much because he was worried how the public might view it. I wonder if he thinks people would view it as ‘oh he must be too immature to be serious about Nicole’ and thinks that would stop people voting for them if they didn’t see them as a serious couple
I think he just has an aversion to any sort of negative perception in case it scuppers the win. He literally goes serious and starts sulking straight away. There’s a hierarchy in there and him and Nicole think they’re at the top.

His love bombing, possessiveness and jealousy from day one. He doesn’t trust what she just told him about the secret mission so wants more info from Joey. I won’t add more as it’s obviously annoyed some but having experienced it, I can see the signs in him. He’s having to control it because he’s in the villa.

Yes it’s edited and we only see so much but even the little we’ve seen I can see it.
That's fair enough. Thanks for replying. We don't all have to agree all the time so don't stop sharing your opinion. 🙂

Probably because he’s on too tight a leash with Nicole.

I find Ciaran a very peculiar character. I know Love Island at its core is meant to be about finding love not friends, but he comes across as almost too keen somehow, his relationship with Nicole and getting to the final is his sole focus. It’s like he has no fun and is waiting for the next thing to tick off his list. Something is odd about him but I can’t put my finger on it… he’s very performative. I hope for Nicole’s sake he’s being genuine because that girl is very insecure and I don’t think she’d do well when it most likely turns sour.
Yes, absolutely. He isn't even trying to be subtle about his agenda.
Vast majority are there for something other than love, I don't blame him. What really annoys me though is that he thinks we, the viewers, are buying his quest for love, his voice-of-reason persona.
It frustrates the tit out of me knowing that he's gonna take the win with that streaky banshee grrr

Nicole just wants to win too though IMO

Her perpetually pained expression suggests to me she is either shitting bricks (she knows he's going to play away) or the excitement is literally killing her. Awww a national treasure in the making... Nicholas Cage eat your heart out!
I think she’s just miserable. She doesn’t look like someone who knows what to do if she’s not having a strop. It’s why her and Jess got on so well - both energy drains who just moan about everyone.

I think my biggest gripe with them is in any other season they would’ve been out long ago. Both two lucky opportunists who are skating by due to everyone else’s mess and yet think they’re royalty.

You can be king of the pigsty, you’re still in a pigsty.

Don’t forget she’s ‘madly in love’ and its clearly paining her!

Ciaran strikes me as the type that when they get out he’s going to slag most of them off in interviews!

I always think it's hilarious when a couple demand others explain their decisions for picking them in a challenge, my stock answer would be, it's a game we all have to pick someone.
The hierarchy in there is so obvious and ridiclous.
Ciaran with his tiny man tits and weird hair, why the duck do him and hugo brush it all forward and then flick the little fuzzy fringe up?
