Why any of them trust Joey is beyond me, he's an ITV employee from the get go, absolute plant.

Because he’s been in the business so long he’s just better at acting than the others (but occasionally can’t keep a straight face!)

The ones who are out and doing interviews all praise him and say they liked him. The boys they all got on with the most seem to be Joey, Ronnie, Sean. Interestingly, none of them have mentioned they got on well with Ciaran!

The absolute psychotic reactions of Ciaran and Nicole during that challenge. The passive aggressive laughing when they’re picked. The way they expect an explanation from everyone if they’re picked for anything they deem negative towards them and then sulking about being picked for ages…

yeah no they’re really level headed and fun.

Please tell me they will show clips of Mimi(not being that girl)being that girl👀👀 she wanys Ayo so bad I can’t bare to watch her!How is Josh so blind to see it! He is definitely restraining himself in there man wants to let rip with his paranoia😂 Joey dropping thay secret mission bomb was hilarious 10/10 hope he spills serious tea on it & they air the clip of mimi wanting to “squash things once and for all” Squash Ayo’ D more like!

Probably because he’s on too tight a leash with Nicole.

I find Ciaran a very peculiar character. I know Love Island at its core is meant to be about finding love not friends, but he comes across as almost too keen somehow, his relationship with Nicole and getting to the final is his sole focus. It’s like he has no fun and is waiting for the next thing to tick off his list. Something is odd about him but I can’t put my finger on it… he’s very performative. I hope for Nicole’s sake he’s being genuine because that girl is very insecure and I don’t think she’d do well when it most likely turns sour.

I think Ciaran could be quite volatile, I don’t get a good feeling off him.

this is exactly how I see him. Zero fun unless it’s for the cameras. Can’t take a joke. Just seems to sit there miserably with Nicole all day. Obviously knows they’re a shoe in with the Welsh vote, never being in the bottom so his main focus is getting from week to week and hamming it up when appropriate. I just can’t stand him and Nicole. They just seem so dry and boring.

Also they are arrogant - sulking and then expecting an explanation anytime they’re picked negatively in an challenge is wrong.

Hmmm I don’t get that vibe but I think he’s very calculated in what he’s doing. He’s very much brushing everyone else off, not making much connection with the boys and focusing solely on his relationship.

I kind of understood his insecurity about the correlation of ‘being younger = must be immature’ to a point, but at the same time I wonder if that bothered him so much because he was worried how the public might view it. I wonder if he thinks people would view it as ‘oh he must be too immature to be serious about Nicole’ and thinks that would stop people voting for them if they didn’t see them as a serious couple.

Ciaran almost reminds me a bit of Jake, perhaps a bit less annoying though, remember when everyone thought him and Liberty would win and he made her his “gorlfriend” 🤣
I called this out in one of the earliest threads. He’s Jake if Jake was good looking, had a bit more charisma and hadn’t farted almost entirely through the first three weeks giving everyone the ick.
