What's with all this judgemental nonsense that women have to be classy. Let women be what they want to be. If everyone was sitting around with their noses in the air like Gemma and Indiyah we would have all switched off by now. The world's made up of different people. Some have class some don't and it's nice to see a mix in love island.

Paige, Gemma and Indiyah are attractive ladies who seem to be comfortable with their sexuality. They also have some class.

I am not a fan of Davide, he does seem to embody the stereotype you described. I am equally not a fan of Ekin Su or Tasha. Many of the other girls seem very comfortable with their own sexuality, without coming across the way Tasha and Ekin-Su do. Notice how when discussing Tasha and Andrew's time in the hideaway, it is mainly around the hand job she gave him. No mention of her experience at all. So much for celebrating female sexuality.

I have never dated any Italian men, but I do see where you are coming from, there is very much a cultural patriarchy in Italy(and several other countries to be fair) Italy country I love to visit though, but definitely not for romance!

I don't find Davide attractive in any way. Physically, Jacques is more my type. Personality not so much. He's a duck boy. When I was in my twenties I had a "Jacques" in my life for a few years. I still remember him fondly, but long term marriage material, never in a million years! He was great for my own "expression of my sexuality", that's for sure, but then again that was in the privacy of my own home and not in front of cameras and broadcast on TV! 😀

You literally said their "act like a lady" post was "spot on" so yeah you said it too. 🙃 You seem to be projecting onto Ekin-Su and personally embarrassed by her behaviour for some strange reason, but sorry women don't need to sit down and shut up like Gemma or be boring as duck like Paige to be "classy". The obvious slut-shaming isn't classy either, so for the sake of continuing to enjoy this thread let's stop with that.

Yep, ES is clearly acting up for maximum exposure. That flounce at the end was so OTT and out of place. Unless she's really in love with Davide???? Looks like she's done the producers' job and written the script for this season. And why not? The rest of them think they're going to pull a Millie - lounge around being pleasant for 8 weeks and bore audiences to death and then win.

Jay hands down likes Tasha the best. Not sure what she sees in Andrew with his yellow canines and dishwater personality.

Except she wouldn’t commit to that either as she kept bringing up her gcse every chance she got. She was such a pain in the hole as she wanted to be every type of islander going - the bestie, the Jack and dani relationship, the ditzy one, the smart one, the girls girl, the independent one, the boss witch, the one who chose herself, the example to young girls.

Agree here. Up until yesterday the last thing I would have described Ekin Sue as is passive aggressive, but the trailer clip of her walking away from Davide, obviously with her back to him, swearing and slagging him off was, as you say, pathetic. It was hardly a surprise or major incident she enjoyed flirting and snogging with another contestant, can’t for the life of me see why she was crawling round the floor (well obviously it’s for camera time) .. just tell Davide, what was he gonna do, put a horses’s head in her bed 😳
 
When do we think new bombshells will be coming in and how many? I'm curious to see what happens re Andrew and Davide and especially Jay- to see if he sticks with ES.
I feel like eventually, if another girl goes for Andrew and it works, Jay's gonna make a beeline for Tasha.
