Afia's under eye concealer was making me dieeee last night, WHY did none of the girls tell her it was pure yellow and too light?! maybe the cameras were just picking it up and it wasnt that obvious IRL but girl
It looked as if she stopped mid "bake" and forgot to blend. Poor thing, they really ought to offer the cast a makeup advisor to help them with TV lighting.

Yes agree. She seems a sweet girl and it’s a shame she’s only being remembered for her make up. We’ve all done it, I’m certainly guilty of the effects of putting my blusher on in the dark .. 😱

There was supposed be a model called Zach Hartman going in but he decided not to go ahead
Probably a good thing, there’s not enough room in there for his ego 😱

I actually really like Gemma, I think she feels intimidated been the youngest and that’s why she’s quiet but when she does pipe up people have a problem with it.. the lack of eye contact people keep commenting about is a sign of anxiety too I can’t make eye contact either 😬 a think she’s conscious of the cameras and her family watching .. really like Paige too though and she’s the opposite of Gemma

Yeah I am really starting to like her! I have anxiety too and I can't even make eye contact with my partner of 10 years sometimes and I can often come across as rude but it's actually just my social awkwardness so I really feel for her! And on top of that all the cameras and her fam watching she's probably feeling the pressure of it all

Jacques' accent goes through me like a knife. It's so strange how some regional accents are just incredibly repellant. I'm Southern English born and raised and I do notice I have a preference for accents from London/Home Counties - I would not at all be surprised if our accents in turn are just as jarring to, say, Northerners. I think it's perhaps that the cadence and sentence structure is so different?

For me perhaps it's that Southern English accents sound more authoritative and sharp? When Jacques flirts in his accent it sounds almost...whingey to me?

Obviously I'd be lying if I failed to acknowledge their are probably subconscious class conditioning aspects to all of this. It's endemic in our society. Stereotypes of the 'Cheeky, cheerful, salt of the earth but working class Northerner' and the 'Sterner, more aggressive but wealthier Southerner.' etc.

Anyone else catch when Luca was talking to the boys about his plan to kiss Gemma he said “if it all goes tits up” he’ll be “fuming”? Seems like a red flag to me. Why he fuming if someone doesn’t want to kiss you? Be embarrassed or upset maybe, or annoyed (at yourself) for bleeping it up, but “fuming”? Really?

From their interactions it doesn’t look like he has any real feelings for Gemma. He just lusts after her and wants to claim her for the ego trip because she’s a “stunning gel”. That’s it.
Insecure men are some of the most dangerous men in the world

I really don’t think this years couples like eachother at all.. I think Gemma will end up back with her ex cause they’re chemistry is still 🔥, Ekin su will make her way through the full villa, & theyll all be single at the end of it 🙂
I'm glad it's this way. No need for commitment at this stage. Then they can shake things up, and switch to other people. Makes the show more interesting.
