This whole "I love you" is such crap too.Since when is a woman just WAITING for a man to say it? Actions speak louder than words.My dad never told my mum that but they were devoted to each other. Couples think that is the pinnacle of a romance and seals the deal..men have so much control as they know women are just waiting and waiting...such a load of shit.
 
Do any of you have moments where you realise this show really wouldn’t be for you if you were an islander? I got this yesterday when they were talking about have babies with each other. If a man said he wanted to have my baby after 2 months, I’d tell him to get a bloody grip and I’d be running for the hills

I think the challenges, in particular the sexy dancing. I WOULD DIE.
 
One thing I can’t get my head round is now there is so much attention on contestants mental health so much so that they won’t even do the Twitter challenge. But producers are as some islanders claim editing them to look like a completely different person surely that is more damaging to their mental health then being in a challenge? And contestants could easily have an issue with that when they come out. So I don’t buy it that it’s all ‘editing’ absolutely we see only snippets of the day and miss bits etc but I don’t believe ITV would dare make someone look completely different in the edit
 
Omfg so I've 1) just found this thread and 2) only started watching Love Island this year! I've spend the last day reading it as I've given up with watching it for now - I'm bored and the staging is shite!! Sad I've only found this in the last week! 😭 😂 Sidenote but I started watching the American one (old series) on ITV player whatever it's called and it's SOO cheesy and hilarious lmao
