I don’t think it’s anything to do with the complaining tbh, otherwise Faye would have been kicked out last year. ITV love the complaints because it brings about media interest and that means more viewers. That’s why no one ever gets a comeuppance.

The reason it’s PG now is because whenever the producers do something that’s dramatic people call “mental health” and start going on about all the deaths linked to LI. This is on top of the Jeremy Kyle one.

LI reaches a hard to get at demographic advertising wise, and ITV don’t want to be force to take it off air, so they don’t do the tweet challenges etc anymore.
