The producers have sanitized this show beyond recognition. I get there's a duty of care element but for me it's pretty simple:

1. Do your due diligence. If there's any chance the applicant has a medical reason that would cause them distress or difficulty in such an environment then don't place them in the villa.

2. Let adults be adults and deal with the fall out of their actions. Bring back lie detector, the tweets game, let them drink alcohol. Be Kind has absolutely ruined this show. If you don't want to be judged then don't act like a dick.

Jacques kissed girls in casa & expected to come back & for Paige to forgive him & now he’s pissed off she won’t so he’s having a tantrum & leaving
Regardless of what condition Jacques has or hasn’t he is a duck boy. You can’t go round kissing other people in real life and then say “oh it’s cuz I’ve ADHD” What a load of tit.
This is what is wrong with this world. There is right and wrong & mental health is not a get out card.

I’m really annoyed they gave Jacques a big emotional leaving thing, this guy is bad news and a walking red flag. People saying they feel sorry for him crying etc (not just here, Twitter is full of it) controlling men can pull the crocodile tears like theres no tomorrow. I used to deal with men who had beaten their girlfriends to a pulp/put them in hospital stand up in court sobbing their eyes out about how much they ‘love them’ 🙄 obviously not saying he’s as bad as that but let’s not forget his behaviour has been gross, he doesn’t deserve your pity
Yes!!! The general public see tears and think it's contrition and regret but the regret is that they got caught out and they feel sorry for themselves not the victim. Just speaking from experience too about toxic narcissistic men, they have to cycle through the adoration phase, the marriage proposals, there are lovely times otherwise nobody would stay. Not saying Jacques is that toxic but he does a good impression. I think he is a bully. A weak, manipulative idiot who treats women like toys.

The comments on Paiges Instagram are depressing. All the people shutting down any criticism of Jax with "his family will be hurt by you saying that, be kind" while simultaneously dragging Paige for actually having self respect and finally recognising that he has no right to treat her like he does.
He called her like a dog and was extremely aggressive towards her. To the point that I would not put it past him to get physically abusive with a woman.
She summed it up very well, she's not his mum. She is not responsible for HIS emotional development.
He was so manipulative last night and on the terrace it looked like Paige was physically repulsed by him at times.
The way he wanted to say he loved her and she practically begged him not too cause she is so done made me feel ill. He is a manipulater, he has left and now SHE feels guilty.
He needs intensive therapy, there is something not right there and I don't think it has anything to do with ADHD. His fans need to get a grip.

My friend works for ITV and they do loads of medical tests on the contestants before they let them into the villa. If he has ADHD they did know about it.

But tbh, I’m pretty pissed off that this is now the conversation. Having ADHD doesn’t not make you an asshole and it’s so incredibly insulting to other people with ADHD to suggest that he’s an asshole because of his ADHD. He’s an asshole because he’s an asshole.

Someone above has said Olivia Attwell has ADHD and I’d be very surprised if other contestants haven’t had it in the past. It must be a very hard environment for someone with ADHD but that isn’t a reason to act like a prized bellend.

If his ADHD is that bad he should not have made the decision to go on the show. I do think that rather than always using #BeKind sometimes we should be using #TakeResponsibilityForYourActions.

Where were the Be Kind tweets when he was an asshole to Ekin? When he was gaslighting Paige… making everything her fault? He’s a manipulative prick, and you can be that with or without ADHD.

Jacques would benefit from some intense therapy (I’m guessing he takes medication already?) to learn coping strategies when faced with stressors. You can’t be vile to people constantly and hide behind adhd.

Personally, if I was around someone like that - the aggression, being spoken to like tit, walking on eggshells in case they blew up - my own mental health would tank. I totally get why Remi seemed so withdrawn after he left if Jacques was constantly chipping away at him, and no one was saying ‘be kind’ to Remi.

This tweet by Amber is a fine example of people banging on about mental health etc as soon it doesn't go the persons way or they start crying, she mentions his actions yet is getting replies mentioning mental health, it's as if these days we can't talk about people's behaviour and actions without people trying to pull the mental health and be kind card to excuse them, it's brilliant he left whether it was his choice or not to take care of himself but it shouldn't mean he (or anybody whether it's Love Island or not) actions should be ignored in the name of mental health and being kind.

Like seriously, how does Jax mental health somehow trump everyone else's in his life!??? Paige was exhausted on the terrace last night the poor thing but yet its Jax getting all the sympathy!?? Everyone was very slow to give him that hug he asked for when he was leaving too....
It was the same tit with Faye last year, its like she was the only person that mattered.

Let's get back to the show.

What will Paige do now?

She's done in there, she can't win the show now or get to the final so how will she play this? If she couples up with Adam the public will turn on her, perhaps another guy further down the road?

I'm predicting a week of moping around before pulling an Amy/Liberty that is dragged out over a couple of episodes.

That was drug out to hell, why was it so boring. It took him a century to actually leave and then no preview?

Surprised he actually left though, which season was it someone bluffed about leaving to garner sympathy?

I'm so upset that Indiyah is basically back with Dami. NO, she is so mature, really wise and deserves way better. Did we not even see her talk to Deji/ tell him why it wasn't going to work? wtf
Tom from season 2 said he wanted to leave after things started to go downhill with Sophie, he then proceeded to drag it out for days before deciding he would stay 😂 Pretty sure he was voted off soon after though.
