I have this feeling the producers are guarding what we see more than ever this year, it feels like things happen and it’s out of the blue when it’s obviously been going on for days. If that’s the case and theres more stuff, extend the episodes!

Jay has been what he thinks is very smart but I believe if it goes to public vote, he’ll be gone next. Fiat 500 Twitter aren’t happy the golden couple have been split because of him, and he’s definitely worked out Paige is most popular and used the exact same lines he did on Amber. It’s going to be his undoing. Paige and Jacques look unstoppable right now, and if he stays loyal at Casa Amor (which I genuinely believe he will) they’ll win it hands down.

Final thing is Tasha. She needs to leave Andrew. She hasn’t actually done anything wrong, she’s said she’s open to getting to know people and its the name of the game! They were forced together by the public at the start, so not necessarily each other’s type. But I really hope she sets Andrew free to find someone who will love that sweet and soppy guy - she wants a bad boy and that’s fine. But she needs to be honest.

100% they are guarding whats been going on, at least in regard to Jaques and Luca. I said earlier in the week it was obvious Luca had been even more reactionary to the Danica situation and it had been edited, now we here about stuff going on with Jaques and it not even being shown.

Based on some comments not edited out last week and hearing Dami with Luca i think Dami has been the only lad pulling the bad behaviour up and i wish they would actually show that.

Jacques order of priorities has been:
- Lucas bromance 45%
- Getting 1 over ES 35%
- Paige 20%

Now he realises that was not smart
exactly this, he was so happy for jay to get to know paige and now it’s coming back to bite him. , he didn’t think to ask her thoughts on it at all, just told her. paige obviously didn’t want too, i think she even said it when she was crying. maybe she’s a ppl pleaser, she can’t seem to speak up and now she’s getting to know him

I think the producers yet again know exactly what they are doing, and have mastered the art of misdirection in First Look.

We’re in a weird situation as other than Luca and Gemma, Paige and Jacques and Dami & Indiyah the couples aren’t stable and nobody is invested in them working out. So the only way to cause any drama at a recoupling is to potentially look like one of them may choose someone else. And this is what they’re doing with Paige, it’s evident she’s head over heels for Jacques and I think this is just a producer edit to cause some drama. Admittedly I can’t stand Jay due to his blatant game playing and he is using Paige to stay in, the quicker he goes the better.

To be fair for all the other couples, Casa Amor can’t come soon enough because right now they don’t get screen time and the public don’t like most of them because they’re not in a likeable couple.

Edited to add - It also sets up the Jacques in Casa Amor if he notices Paige getting close to Jay. At the moment there won’t be any shocks, so producers need an angle for it.

I just am not feeling the Dami and Indiyah at all... No chemistry , no chat it just all seems so forced . I feel awkward watching them two... it's cringey !
I like them but i’m going to end up being put off if their fans on twitter continue acting the way they do. They act like they are the best couple in love island history when in reality we have only seen like 10 minutes of them together over 3 weeks. After Friday’s episode they were all going for Luca after his comments on the Tasha & Andrew situation, yet Dami said the exact same things (if not even more harsh than Luca) and they were hyping him like there was no tomorrow, like you are allowed to call out your faves 😂 I do like their vibes though and I think they have potential!

I'm at my volunteering rn and I'm overhearing 3 women in their 30s talking about Love Island and how nice and down to earth Luca is and isn't it lovely how he sells fish

Respectfully, NO

Been debating this with my sister, do you think the producers hire like weekly beauty spa days for the islanders? How have they always got fresh nails, fresh haircuts and eyelash extensions?
