She's messed up with that coming out. How stupid is she to try and fake her way through the show.

wow !!! How will they get rid of her I wonder ? Even if the plan worked and she got together with him, there’s no way she would have won.

Nah imagine her in there wondering when this james is coming 🤣

I also don't get the men badgering Tasha with 'you said you'd leave the villa if Andrew went but now you are interested in someone else'. So? She has changed her mind about him. It's really not that deep.
Davide can change his mind, Jay can, Dami can and its all 'bro you do what you need to do'.
None of the men seem particularly nice or kind this year.

ITS TRUE!!!!!! The way she was comforting tasha tonight when none of them were there for her

also davide’s “hate” for ekin-su is getting boring like at first yeah it was a little funny but now its time for him to move on and let GO.. doing too damn much

and paige needs to open her eyes!!!!! Why is she so attached to jacques 🤮 call me terrible but i wont feel bad if he hurts her in casa amor looool

classic sexist drivel from the sun if you ask me. If these texts exist why aren’t they able to print a copy of them..?

I don't know why people let their dislike of someone get in the way of rational thinking. Tasha may be unlikeable but she's not doing anything wrong. Some people are missing what the whole concept of what love island is about. People make and break promises all the time. You can like someone one week and get the ick the following week. Yes she hasn't handled it well but the guys get no stick for doing exactly the same. It should renamed Sexist Island.

i'm just watching the episode now but just want to say i've realised why there are no strong couples yet this season. the boys are all in love with each other. every move they make in there is to impress each other. they're not in there for the girls. even when tasha and andrew had the convo and she got up and ran away crying for some reason that i don't understand, luca jax and dami come in to tell andrew that tasha is being ridiculous and making andrew feel like an idiot, obviously he's got to then retaliate to show the boys he is not an idiot and gain their approval with his next moves now. this has been happening with every boy in the villa amidst any conflicts

Why’s everyone feeling sorry for Danika? She was never into davide, said jacques and Luca were her type and she wasn’t into muscles, only started showing an interest in him when the penny dropped Luca wasn’t gona change his mind on her 🤷🏼‍♀️

because she’s only tried to make a connection and graft with the people available to her; the point of love island. Davide was happy to lead her own, kiss her, but gave her no indication he might chose antigoni.

Danica had to stand on her own while Jacques couldn’t give her the grace to not roll his eyes and hide his annoyance. He could’ve been a gentleman and saved her that, but he chose not to.

all the other girls were chosen. And Danica was left last. That can’t have been pleasant. if Jaques was even the slightest bit of a gentleman he’d have seen that, seen her standing there and shown some grace and put his own disappointment over Paige to one side. But he didn’t do that, and added extra humiliation onto Danica.

she didn’t deserve that and if Paige wasn’t so immature, she’d have clocked it as a giant red flag from Jaques. One of the many he’s waving around in fact.

the men are truly sick in the head. Its ok for them to change their mind about who they want to be with but when its the girls they get pissed off, make faces… honestly we need REAL men in that villa ive had enough of their nonsense

I dunno if I'm just seeing this weirdly because I'm jaded and cynical but I find the differences in how the guys have reacted to Paige vs Tasha quite sinister.

Jay asked Jacques and a few of the other guys whether it was OK for him to get to know Paige, before he'd even asked her if she wanted to. Whereas Charlie didn't get anyone's permission to invite Tasha on a date (as he shouldn't have tbh, she's a human being not Andrew's toy). It almost feels like the guys are more bothered by Tasha because they didn't give "permission" for it to happen. Like their egos were dented by one of "their" women doing something without getting their approval first? I dunno if I've explained that well, but it feels misogynistic and gross!

Love Island is always a bit sexist but this year it feels like the toxic masculinity has been cranked up to another level!

i 100% agree with you.

I think one leader of the pack who is sexist (in this case, Luca) can influence and bring it out in the others. It’s like a pack mentality that’s exacerbated because they’re in a little bubble. Outside of that bubble the guys might be ok individually but I think that group mentality is bringing out the worst in all of them.

I think if Luca was removed they others might chill a little. And I’m not saying this because I don’t like a Luca. He was the most overtly disrespectful to women early on and is manipulative and controlling of a lot of people in there.

The men this season are pure trash. Like, more than other seasons. In other seasons we had some jokers and some genuine bromances. There were assholes but genuinely it didn’t feel like the girls were constantly being treated disrespectfully.

This lot are a bunch of snakes, each and every one. Dami couldn’t take a light hearted dig from Ekin Su and threw a little tantrum. Neither could Luca. he’s happy to join a pile on with Tasha.

Luca is just.. pure trash. A walking red flag, resident manipulator, gaslighted and bully. Followed closely at the heel by Jaques (no wonder they get on).

Davide is a walking ego,it’s cool for him to yell at Ekin Su but she’s too dramatic if she yells back. And he treated danica pretty horribly by leading her on.

then we have Jay who is blatantly playing games and trying to be strategic with who he pairs up with, presumably he’s forgotten the public get the final vote

Andrew is the best of a bad bunch, but was quick to talk about “karma” and gloat when Jay ditched Ekin Su.

the only one we have left is Charlie; who hopefully is at least semi decent.

not all men are like this. Lots of men are able to be respectful and compassionate and empathetic and friendly towards women. It’s fucking disgraceful Love Island producers are throwing this rabble in and don’t apparently, seem to have any issue with the plethora of red flags being normalised on the show.

it doesn’t help that the girls just don’t seem to be gelling at all. What happened with Ekin Su being ganged up on, was unpleasant viewing and wholly uncalled for. Paige, Indiyah, Tasha AND Gemma all seem to be willing to stick the knife in to their fellow females without much provocation. Ekin Su has actually treated them all pretty well, but they treat her like an outsider. Danica was left to be humiliated. Antigoni seems decent but again, she’s been in the villa for 24 hours.

the constant disrespect from the male islanders towards the females, has never been so obvious or blatant. It’s making it uncomfortable viewing for me and to be honest, for the first time in what, 8 years? I’m tempted to complain and stop watching.

im here to watch people have messy love lives and find a partner and maybe make a bit of an idiot of themselves. I’m here for lighthearted drama. I’m not here to routinely see women be disrespected and belittled by a group of man children.

This is the best post I’ve read. The men are vile. Andrew, as you say, is the best of a bad bunch. Their constant maltreatment of the women is something much more worthy of reports to Offcom than Faye’s outbursts last year (annoying as she was).

Jay is absolutely awful.

It’s almost like no means yes to him, as its clear as day Paige isn’t interested and his pursuit is turning him into a walking ick. That’s even after the ‘morning sex’ comment yesterday. He’s latched to Paige as he knows she’s popular and he won’t be voted out, don’t trust a word that comes from him.

I dislike Jacques, but nowhere near as much as I do Jay, and I do believe he has genuine feelings for Paige. Jay has no chance.

i've never been a fan of tasha tbh and i know she's in there playing the same game as ekin but since she's in good with the girls, no one is going to call her out like how they all have problems with ekin behind her back. but i do feel bad for tasha bc it's true, the boys all do gang up and get involved esp jacques and luca at the head of it. gemma is the last girl tasha wouldve wanted to talk to about it because she's never going to call out problematic boy behaviour because she's a weirdo and likes that in her guys and liek i said her ex and her current flame are at the head of it, really spot on with what she fancies in a guy. i'm glad andrew is finally seeing tasha for who she is and realising he shouldnt put all his eggs in her basket because she's been using him to stay in the game since day 1 BUT she IS right about the boys having absolutely no manners. they really just cannot keep their opinions to themselves can they

I don’t think Andrew has seen the light. He was starting to but I think he still thinks she has feelings for him
