What’s it got to do with Dami and Luca? The girls seem under such scrutiny but the lads are free to do whatever they want
Totally agree. It is none of their business. They are ganging up on Tasha. I am probably in the minority, but I think Tasha was within her rights to get to know other men if she wanted to. I was originally impressed with Andrew but I have gone right off him.
Also think Tasha looked absolutely stunning with her hair down and smokey eye look. Reminded me of a younger Kate Moss.

Jay's look is sooo dated for me .. like the goatie, the sun damage, the roid rage body 😑not for me son.

Tash 100 percent has the ick, she would fancy Andrew wayyyy more if he was a little bit of a prick to her.

Danica ... she NEEDS that lap dance challenge to survive this next week. I think she might change a few minds!

Dami and indiyah ❤️

Why is no one having a go at Paige (who I like) for wanting to know Jay?

Maybe because Jacques didn't open his mouth and spill their private conversations like the little school girl (Andrew).

I'm not even sure Paige wants to get to know Jay. She seems like a people pleaser and not sure what to do in this situation when two guys are after her.

Why does everyone like Davide? I don’t think he’s all that funny or charming. He’s a narcissist with an Italian accent. That’s it. 😂

I’ve said it before - there is nothing unique about him. All Italians say the sound bites he does when arguing or otherwise. And yes, it sounds funny. But Davide really has no time for anyone except Davide.

I think Danica is a bit upset that he kissed her then chose someone else. It’s like he was trying on a shoe. 🤢

I dunno if I'm just seeing this weirdly because I'm jaded and cynical but I find the differences in how the guys have reacted to Paige vs Tasha quite sinister.

Jay asked Jacques and a few of the other guys whether it was OK for him to get to know Paige, before he'd even asked her if she wanted to. Whereas Charlie didn't get anyone's permission to invite Tasha on a date (as he shouldn't have tbh, she's a human being not Andrew's toy). It almost feels like the guys are more bothered by Tasha because they didn't give "permission" for it to happen. Like their egos were dented by one of "their" women doing something without getting their approval first? I dunno if I've explained that well, but it feels misogynistic and gross!

Love Island is always a bit sexist but this year it feels like the toxic masculinity has been cranked up to another level!

There is no way that Jay is being genuine about liking Paige the most all along - he’s a liarrrrrrr. He didn’t even choose her for the first 3 dates. And she said herself he never even spoke to her. He pisses me right off - he knows full well that if there is a public vote for favourite couple at the weekend, Paige will keep him in.

Andrew
"I'm choosing to couple up with this girl because I think she's absolutely unreal. Drop dead gorgeous. Even though we've had a few challenges, we're gonna have more, but I'm positive we're gonna get through them and get stronger and stronger. I'm really looking forward to see where this can go. And hopefully it can go the distance. So the girl I'd like to couple up with is....Tasha" ♥

Luca in particular sniffs out weaknesses in the other couples, and I think it’s in an effort to make his and Gemma’s ‘connection’ seem more real in comparison? To keep himself in the running, he’s going to highlight every problem between other couples to make it seem a lot worse and more dramatic, so it puts stuff in the viewers’ heads and decreases their lack of trust in relationships.

Tasha, for example, cried because she realised that with all the commotion of Luca and Dami pointing out she’s ‘fake’, Andrew and her will not be seen as a solid couple anymore and their place in the villa could be at risk. Without them two shaking their heads and the conversation afterwards where they were going on about it, I don’t think it would’ve been that deep 🤷🏼‍♀️

Luca is indeed, very manipulative.

I knew Jacques was an arrogant but insecure piece of work. I also agree with the sentiment that Jay has been snaky, but I do think he's probably a nicer guy and better for Paige. I thought they had a spark from the beginning, but he went with game playing rather than being genuine, then regretted it. Although it's hard to know what's a genuine spark with Paige because she's cute and that people pleasing, bubbly type of girl who can't articulate her feelings, that's why she was picked, easy for the producers to use her to manipulate the narrative in multiple ways.

Confused about Gemma and Luca, I'm thinking now they could genuinely be the next Molly-May and Tommy, but then why bring Jacques in? Surely there's going to be unfinished business with him and Gemma... and surely it's no coincidence that Luca bares a resemblance, and that Paige who was one of the few successful applicants bares a resemblance to Gemma. The producers know what they're doing. It's just an odd one at the moment with Gemma and Jacques, it could go either way, maybe the drama will be that Gemma rejects Jacques, and the piece of work gets publicly humiliated. I don't buy Paige and Jacques, even though there's natural chemistry, he's fake AF. If nothing at all happens with Gemma and Jacques then it's just so random in my opinion.

100% toxic male energy this season.

In previous seasons there was always one guy who was a blatant misogynist (Terry springs to mind) but this year it's a pack mentality.

They need to stay out of each others business ... it's not cute watching men act like gossipy little girls.

You think that Luca and Gemma are like Molly-Mae and Tommy?? What are you seeing that I’m not? Tommy and Molly-Mae were both kind and seemed like decent people and seemed genuinely concerned about the other islanders. Gemma is ok - I don’t dislike her. But Luca?!
