i don’t know how ppl like him, he’s too much of a “lad”
looks like he just discovered sympathy in yesterdays episode when paige was crying
I agree! But the scene where paige was crying and he was comforting her seemed so fake for me. It’s like he knew to say the right things “you can talk to me about anything”, “no you’re not okay” etc. because he knew the cameras were on him. He said so himself he didn’t think he would actually care if Paige cried

agree with this! who walks in on a girl crying and all u say is "you can talk to me about anything" but then run to ur lads to say i walked in on her crying

exactly paige is the same one who said a man wouldn’t shout at a women like that about davide but she’s silent when it comes to jax. she and gemma seem like the type of girls to let there men get away with treating others badly for no reason

It seems like Paige is afraid to say how she feels about anything. I think most people in her position yesterday would have told Jaques that she felt bad but she was even trying to pretend she wasn’t crying. And Ekin Su was obviously annoying her at one point but she didn’t speak to her about it.

Me whenever Jacques opens his mouth:

i'm really curious about how serious people are about their ekin su + davide ship/recoupling predictions! here for the enemies to lovers trope. for the people who think it's going to happen what are your predictions of when? i think it could possibly even be another chloe toby situation and be a huge and pivotal recoupling after all of casa amor which is supposedly in a little over a week from now

Remi said on Will Njobvu's reality podcast that he had some kinda beef with Jacques that wasn't aired. Basically Jacques sounds like a bit of an a-hole.

It's in here about 22mins in. Then more at 34 mins.

I feel so bad for Remi. He seems totally despondent after his LI experience. I hope he has good support around him and that LI are continuing with their duty of “care.” Jacques is such a little prick. Why are they not showing us this stuff?? Nothing worse than someone who makes little comments (repeatedly) under the guise of banter, when in reality they are doing it to upset and provoke a reaction. Why does Paige even like him?

One of the most irritating parts of LI is when the irrelevant people like Afia and Remi come out waffling shite. Happens every year to the rejects and have to try and grab some headlines because they didn’t get enough IG followers.
Tbh I think Remi gave very good insight into who Jacques is.
Remi should of just fought him, he was leaving regardless so leave with a bang

Seems like the type to put his phone on DND when he knows his gf will call him upset

exactly, like yes jax, as humans we tend to feel sad when we see someone we supposedly like crying?? congrats you’ve discovered basic human emotions? and some girls are all over him cause of this…it’s the bare minimum. paige can do better i think.
idk what she sees in a guy that has “banter” (when most of the time it’s obviously just disrespect/actually being mean etc) with everyone.

jax, paige, gemma and luca remind me of the “popular” group and couples in highschool who were annoying and mean and that no one actually liked. i still kind of like paige but not as much as before

So we all know that Gemma’s contract stops her from being shown too provocatively right? That’s why we hardly see her in challenges or anything… I don’t think she’s actually super boring or reserved - just her contract means she is heavily edited. It’s a shame because I’d love to see what she’s actually like. I don’t trust this Luca the abuser narrative at all. I think it’s dangerous to his mental health and to actual real abuse victims.

I agree. Of course it’s ok to have opinions and make observations but I think throwing around the words abusive and controlling etc can be very dangerous when you don’t know the full situation.

I think people can often project their own experiences as well which is normal and something I do too, however I think people trying to claim that he’s a potential abuser based on roughly 5 minutes of footage per night is a bit much.

Someone showing their feelings (whether it’s clingy or not) isn’t controlling and unless i’m missing something i’m yet to see him try to control Gemma? Yeah his comments to some of the others are rude and that’s not ok but at the end of the day that doesn’t make someone an abuser.

Not gunna unpack this too much, but regardless of the edit, his actions are his alone.
Whether it’s been edited to make him look like he’s ALWAYS like that, regardless of how he is the rest of the time, he’s still said and done all those things. And if he’s doing it to create a bravado or for airtime, it’s still problematic.
